Royalty's Pov.
My head was aching, and my ears were ringing. I started to move my head slowly, it was still a pain to move, I could hear voices of someone talking, but not too clearly. I opened my eyes just to shut it back close due to the sun sipping in. I took in a deep breath before opening it again, looking around the room, trying to figure out where I was.
The image of the accident replayed in my head, I immediately placed my hand on my tummy. I looked to my side to see Giovanni's familiar dark hair which seemed to have grown on the bed beside me, while his body was on a chair. He looked fast asleep.
I moved my hand slowly lifting it up to his hair, running my fingers through it and he groaned in satisfaction.
" Giovanni " I say but it was barely a whisper making it difficult for him to hear. I used my tongue to wet my dried lips before trying again. " Giovanni."
His head snapped up so fast, I was surprised it was still attached to his neck. His eyes showed how shocked he looked, it was like he couldn't believe I was awake. After getting over his shocked state scooped me up into his hand, hugging me tightly.
" Roy amore. Baby, I'm so glad you are okay. I'm sorry, I'm sorry , I'm sorry " He buried his face in my hair.
I held on to him, shaking my head. It wasn't his fault, I have caused him a lot of pain. How could I have forgotten about him, how.
The sound of the hospital door being pulled open , made Giovanni and I separate a little bit. Nick walked in with a basket of fruits in his hand, but when he saw that I was awake , he stopped on his track.
" Roy, I'm glad you are awake, '' Luca said, taking a deep breath.
" Hey Nicky." I said, with a smirk on my face, which left both men stunned as they stared at me, mouth opened wide.
" W...wait..."Nick stuttered out. "you called me Nicky"
I tried not to laugh at their facial expressions since I was still in pain. " I sure did Nicky." I said again, a smirk still on my face.
" Roy, do you have your memories back." Giovanni gasped out, staring at me with pleading eyes. Begging me to say yes.
" What memory?." I asked, pretending to have no clue what he was talking about. I watched the look in his eyes become dejected. " Batman." I whispered, so lowly that only him could hear.
The smile on Giovanni's face was priceless, it gave me nothing but contentment. He pulled me into another hug, kissing me all over my face at the same time trying to be conscious of my injuries.
" Call doctor Nick." Giovanni said as he pulled back, with Nick wasting no time as he rushed out of the room.
The door opened again, Nick walked in with a man in white coat, but they weren't the only ones . A couple of nurses also walked in along with Vicky. Giovanni let go of me slightly when she entered inside.
Her eyes met mine and walked over to the bed, giving me a hug. " I'm So happy that you are awake."
" Thanks Vicky. " my voice sounded cracked.
Vicky stood up from the bed to stand beside Nick, so that doctor could examine me. He did a little check up, pointed an Ophthalmoscope in my eyes. He checked my heartbeat, blood pressure and so on. After he was finally done with his checking to see if I was okay, he stood up from the bed.
" heartbeat is okay, blood pressure too. There doesn't seem to be any problem but I suggest you rest and eat the necessary nutrients, no hard work and maybe a little walk a day will be okay. " He said, talking directly to Giovanni
" what... What about the baby? " I stuttered out worried, he didn't mention anything about the baby being okay, that worried me.
" Amore, the baby is okay. The doctor already checked to see if the baby was okay and she is, just like her mother. " Giovanni assured me and a sigh of relief left my mouth until his words clicked.
" She... "
" Yeah, I know it's a girl. Daddy's Little princess " He says with a smile on his face.
" What if it's a boy then."
" It's a girl, even if my little princess turns out to be a boy. It doesn't matter as long as he or she is okay and healthy. " Giovanni said.
" So you aren't angry about the baby. " I asked again, just to be sure.
" I'm not amore. I can't wait for him or her to be born." excitement shone in his eyes.
" Thanks for saving me." I whispered out, looking at Vicky and Nick for a brief moment before glancing at Giovanni
" forgive me amore, for not coming for you late " he whispered, pulling me closer to him.
" No, it's my fault." I said, my voice barely a whisper. " I'm sorry Gio, I'm sorry I forgot about you . "
" It's okay amore."
" No, it's not. I forgot and....." I stopped , gasping. " Where is Alexander, where is my sweet baby boy?" I asked him, not able to hold back the tears.
" He is coming , your parents and my mom are bringing him." Giovanni explains.
" Do you think he hates me, for leaving and not remembering him. Does he know who his mother." I rambled out, worried at what his thoughts might be.
" Quit worrying." Giovanni pecked my lips. " Alexander knows who you are and he doesn't hate you. He knows what happened. In the past , I did explain to him as best as I could."
I fudge with my fingers , nodding my head. I puffed out a breath, not knowing what I would say when Alexander walked in.
