Alfonso's heart sank as he watched his wife, Rose, stumble out of the vehicle they boarded. Her laughter was louder than usual, and her steps were unsteady as she made her way towards the waiting car.
"Rose, darling, are you alright?" Alfonso asked, his voice filled with concern. He hurriedly caught up with her, wrapping his arm around her waist to steady her.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, Rose turned to Alfonso, her words slightly slurred. "I've had a bit too much to drink, my love," she said, her voice sultry. "But I'm feeling quite adventurous."
Alfonso's heart skipped a beat as the word left her mouth before his eyebrows furrowed, unsure of what Rose meant by "adventurous." He knew she was intoxicated, but he didn't expect her to behave so boldly.
As they entered the house, Rose inched closer to Alfonso, her fingers lightly grazing his thigh. "You know," she whispered into his ear, her breath warm against his skin, "we don't have to end the night just yet. I have a few ideas on how to make it even more memorable."
Alfonso's cheeks flushed at Rose's suggestive words, and he gently removed her hand from his thigh, holding it firmly instead. "Rose, Cara," he began, his tone affectionate yet firm. "I understand that you're feeling playful, but we should focus on getting you to bed safely."
Rose pouted, disappointment evident on her face, but she didn't argue with Alfonso's reasoning. Instead, she leaned back on the wall, her gaze fixed on him. "Alright, Alfonso," she acquiesced, her voice tinged with a hint of playfulness. "You win this time."
The ride up the stairs was filled with moments of silence, broken only by Rose's occasional giggles and Alfonso's attempts to distract her from her mischievous thoughts. He caressed her hand, silently reassuring her that he was there for her.
Once they arrived in the room, Alfonso held Rose up with one hand while twisting the knob with the other and guided her inside the lavishly styled bedroom. The dimly lit bedroom seemed to sway with Rose's intoxication, and Alfonso tightened his grip around her waist, fearful that she might fall.
As they stumbled into their bedroom, Rose's inhibitions seemed to take hold once again. She turned toward Alfonso, her eyes filled with desire. "Please, Alfonso," she pleaded, her voice laced with longing. "I need you tonight. Let's make this night truly unforgettable."
Alfonso gently cupped Rose's face in his hands, his eyes filled with love and understanding. "Oh, my dear Rose," he said softly, his voice filled with tenderness. "You're beautiful and alluring, but in your current state, it wouldn't be fair to either of us. Let's rest, and we can continue these desires when you're feeling better."
Rose's expression softened, gratitude shining through her intoxicated haze. She leaned against Alfonso, seeking comfort and reassurance. "Thank you, Alfonso," she murmured, her voice tinged with sincerity. "You're always looking out for me and keeping me grounded."
With utmost care, Alfonso helped Rose undress and settle into bed. He tucked her in gently, planting a soft kiss on her forehead before heading towards his side of the room.
