Jessica and Edwin walked to the car, where the driver was already waiting for them. The two entered the car and the driver drove them to the hotel.
" Do you like to go to the club?" Edwin asked as he leaned forward with his eyes on her.
"Hmm, no sir. I will just go inside to rest," Jessica responded, looking away. She was feeling hot just looking at his eyes.
"Are you scared you will get drunk again?" Edwin jokes, laughing with his eyes.
"Not because of that but…" Jessica slurred, covering her face with her hand.
It was because of that and also something else. For now, she just can't explain how she was feeling towards him. Maybe it was because she had been embarrassed while drunk.
" We don't need to take liquor. The suite will be too boring right now. Let's just go have some fun and also take it as a celebration for our victory," Edwin said, a faint smile on his face.
After giving it a thought, Jessica decided to follow him to the club. At least to enjoy herself a little more before being busy again. And since he said it was a celebration outing, she didn't have any option than to accept.
The driver stopped at the front of the hotel while the two walked inside. They entered the elevator and stopped at the club. Even from the entrance of the club, there were noises everywhere.
They both entered the club. Edwin looked for a vacant seat for them and they quickly occupied it with Jessica sitting opposite him. Fortunately for her, Edwin got a VIP room and the noise was lesser compared to the floor. The waiter came around to get their order and they ordered fruit wine.
Sipping the wine slowly, Edwin thought of starting a conversation with Jessica, to get to know her better. He watched as she sipped the wine without looking at him. Her beautiful emerald eyes were darting around the room and he could feel she was feeling shy.
" Do you always go to the club?" Jessica asked, finally looking at Edwin. But it was just for a second before she looked away.
" Yes, with my friends. You know, after work, I am always at home, and it's boring so I like hanging out with my friend just to spend time when I am doing nothing," Edwin explained.
" Okay, sir," she responded.
" And you, what do you do in your free time?," Edwin asked, as he leaned forward to get the answer.
"Hmm, I don't do much. Before I started working as your secretary, I didn't always have free time. I did three jobs a day. But now, after work, I spend time with my family," Jessica explained.
" So you don't hang out with your boyfriend? Edwin asked, with wide eyes. He was just testing the waters. What he really hoped for was that she would say she doesn't have a boyfriend.
" No, I don't have a boyfriend," Jessica said, as she looked away from Edwin.
She didn't see the relieved smile on Edwin's face. She just didn't want to keep looking at him. She continued sipping on her wine slowly, savoring the taste.
" How about the guy at the office?" Edwin asked, looking at her expression. Not too long she was talking with him and he had also seen her coming out of his car.
"James? No, we're just friends. Besides, he is friends with Misha too," Jessica blushed. Was he monitoring her love life? That's so embarrassing!
"Ohh," Edwin smiles with a crinkled eye.
Not having a boyfriend was what Edwin had been expecting. That would make her fall for him early and he can carry out his intention without being disturbed. He knew he was getting to her slowly and hopefully before the end of the three months, he would have won her over.
Jessica didn't expect Edwin to be calm or even ask such sensitive questions about her. She never thought he could even try to know more about her after their first encounter.
" Maybe he's not as bad as I thought," Jessica thought to herself.
Without knowing, she smiled faintly to herself as the image of his face flashed through her mind.

Meanwhile, sitting at the corner, was a blond girl in her 20s who had been smiling with her beautiful face. Her eyes were fixed on Edwin and she was trying to make gestures at him. She kept adjusting her top to expose her cleavage, with her face inviting Edwin.
Edwin had been seeing her all this while but he had wanted to keep away from these beauties as long as Jessica was around. But then this girl was damn hot and inviting. He just couldn't look away anymore.
He decided to come up with an excuse so has to meet the girl. It would just be a quick one that even Jessica wouldn't know when he would be through.
It's been days since he had anything to do with a woman. The last time was when he called Janet over. Actually, all these girls weren't the main person he wanted to sleep with. His target had always been Jessica.
Whenever he sees her, his body always reacts. It will take him some minutes of masturbating to come over his image in his head. Even this morning, he had to do the same to relieve himself.

Sighing, Edwin excused himself to use the restroom. Dropping his phone on the table. He gave the blonde girl a knowing look before walking away.
Immediately he stood up, and the blond girl followed him, unknown to Jessica.
