"So, tell me, what do you normally do?"

"You know if you always blush and turn you face away it would be hard for us to talk"
"I-I am so-sorry, it's just that I am a bit ne-nervous"
"Nervous?, am I such a scary guy?"
Xiao spoke with a downcast look and an angry face, seeing it Li Lun panicked as she waved her hands and spoke with a higher volume
"No!, it-it's just that I-I am nervous a-and I thought that you would not like me an...."
Just as Li Lun kept rambling the angry expression from Xiao's face dissapeared as a teasing smile came on him, seeing this Li Lun understood hat he was just teasing her, understanding it she pouted as she stomped the ground and turned her face away, Xiao laughed as he spoke
"Okay, okay calm down I was just playing around, you don't have to take it to heart, moreover why would I be angry?"
Hearing Xiao's words Li Lun hesitated a bit but them looking at Xiao's calm black eyes, she gathered courage and she spoke
"Well isn't being engaged to me humiliating to you?, aren't you angry?"
Li Lun asked her face filled with tension, she's no idiot she knows that her engagement is just a play of games, a game where she has no power to intervene, she could tell that her father too was distressed by what had happened and he had tried to help her but his power was useless here
To Li Lun that hurt, she just like any other young girl of her age dreams of meeting her loving prince and to be with him but her fate was sealed and she has no power to change it, so she went along with it but even then she had some curiosity about her 'fiancé
And from what she had heard, she got to know that he was termed as many names genius, weird, bookworm, weird young master and many more but what struck out most to her was that he would never tolerate anyone messing with his family
There were innumerable times where he beat up many other kids who dared to make fun of his sister and even when he was punished and beaten Xiao still didn't give in as he made sure that his sister was happy, learning this she understood that her so called 'fiancé', was protective of those who he loves and cherishes
At first when she met him she went into daze, among the crowd he was like shinning beacon that stood out, confident, calm and resourceful, at first she was scared, scared of how he would treat her, after all she was being used to shame him, yet contradictory to all her belief he was calm, endearing and respectful of her
This confused her, so she wanted to know why?, why wasn't he angry at her?, Xiao became silent for a moment at her question, silence ticked in the surrounding, finally Xiao looked directly into Li Lun's eyes as he spoke
"Why?, well truthfully, I am angry and moreover disappointed in my family but why should I be angry at you?, aren't you like me?, someone that's forced into this?, then why should I direct my anger at you?, I am not such a person....anymore, moreover I think you're a bit cute so I don't mind being engaged to you"
Li Lun bushed when she heard Xiao's words but even at that same time her impression of him became better and unknowingly she slowly relaxed her guard around him
