**Annabelle**
Fallon began pacing slowly putting the pieces together as did it.
"Wait. Ok let's calm down and take deep breaths okay the father or her child might be the man that was murdered. Might Fallon. It's a crazy theory because we have no proof."
"It doesn't even matter. If this is true it means Ava framed you for the murder. How could she be capable of something so inhumane. I had no idea she could even..."
She raked a few fingers in his hair clearly stressed.
"You need to calm down Fallon. We can't go around accusing people without proof. This may as well just be a big coincidence."
"But what if it's not belle. What if she's responsible? What if she's the cause of all your pain and suffering. What then?"
"I'll destroy her. "
I responded meaning word.
"But until then, we should look into it. How name is Nelson Quint. We should go around her workplace and ask a few questions. Maybe her co workers might have an idea of the relationship they have."
I suggested and he nodded in affirmation.
"Annabelle..."
"Yes Fallon?"
"If Ava is responsible for everything, I'll take her down myself. "
He swore leaving me speechless.

We arrived at the company and they were in the middle of a shoot so we had to wait. After it was done, Fallon requested to speak with Nelson's closest friend. He was also young and a little dark as well.
"Hi."
He greeted us both.
"Hi."
We responded simultaneously.
"You're a busy man so I won't waste much of your time. I just want to ask a few questions."
"Alright."
"Did you have any idea of any relationship between Ava max and Nelson Quint outside here?"
His eyes twinkled a little.
"Now I know why you look familiar. Look man if you're having problems with your wife, I really don't want to make them worse. I'm sorry but I think you should talk to your wife or Nelson."
"Nelson is dead."
Fallon cut him short.
"Wait...what!"
He says moving back slowly
"The police are keeping it on a lid but it'll be out soon. I'm sorry for your loss. I really am but I need to know the relationship they had."
"He's dead and you're still...."
"I think my wife killed him."
"What!"
He exclaimed.
"I think your friend and my wife had an affair and she pregnant and she killed him to hide the truth."
"How can you be so..."
"The child is dark skinned."
He cut him short once again.
"Oh my...."
His friend trailed off clearly having troubles processing everything we've told him.
"I need to know."
Fallon stated sternly.
"You're right. Nelson and Ava were having an affair. I tried to get him to stop but he was so obsessed with her."
"Is there a chance that the baby might be his..?"
I zoned out remembering the test result I found. They were negative so the child wasn't Nelson's. Ava shouldn't have had the motive to kill him in that case so why did he wind up dead days after requesting a D.N.A test. This might look like a huge lead but it also looks like a new haystack with an even smaller needle.
Time is running out for me and fast and we haven't gotten an inch closer to the truth.
"Apart from Nelson, was Ava close to any other man?"
I asked. I just didn't feel right about Nelson. He was part of the puzzle but not the big clue. He glanced at Fallon before responding. Fallon gave him a small nod.
"Just one but he quit a few months ago after she ended it."
"How many months?"
I asked curiously.
"About six or seven.."
We stared at each other.
"What was his name? I mean is he here right now so we can talk to him..."
"I'm afraid that's not possible, Mr Ramsey snow passed away days ago due to a gas leak in his apartment."
"How convenient"
I blurted out before exhaling .
"I think we just found our golden ticket."
