Violet POV:-
Why can't he trust me? Mum's words are echoing in my head. Do I love him? I couldn't think straight. I don't know about love but I feel attracted to him. I don't know if it's sympathy or not but it's something memorable. But, I truly want to save him.
I can't allow myself to love him. He didn't even love me. Our marriage was even Forced. It's just a show of his Power. He never really cared. I am nothing but an obsession, we can never be together, he won't let it and I don't want to love him. But his little acts of true affection are driving me crazy. His Obsession makes me scared. I am just stuck between this dilemma.
Should I try to give him a chance?
Should I try to work this marriage out?
Should I Love him?
Do I love him?
We are married. Maybe we should give ourselves some time. He doesn't even show any lust now, It was something else in his eyes.
I just can't understand that obsession. I want to leave him but I want to become salvation to him.
I sighed as I and Celine left.
Celine was so happy. She smiled widely. I also smiled and asked her,
"Celine....."
"Yes? What Is It?"
"Raymond....why is he so ..." I trailed off.
"Cold?" She looked at me with a serious look. This is the first time she was serious. There was no amusement in her voice.
"Yeah..."I said looking down.
"Mother And Father used to Hit him. Father always kept him in the basement. He is the one who has made him this cold and cruel. Mother was also strict. Both of them used to hit him. I am the one who applied ointment on all of his Scars. They were so brutal that the scars are even present on his back. This had made him Cruel. But what made him cold is something else. He doesn't trust people. When I heard that he's getting married I felt so happy. But it seems like he's still the same.Cold. He was desperate for love. After our parent's torture, he was dying for affection. For love. He just wants someone to understand him. To love him. To save him from his misery. And when he found one, she cheated. She was a gold digger. He was completely different from when he was with her. He loved her too much ...Yet she betrayed. He was never given any love. He even refuses to accept mine. He sent me away. I always try to cheer him up but his facade is too much. I want him to be saved. He ..can't be saved. Please ..Sister ..save him..."
Celine began to cry.
I tried to soothe her.
"Please...save him ... I have told you about him.. ask him further details."
"Shh... It's alright. I will save him."I said as the tears were falling down.
We both remained like that and cried. I never knew he was drowned in the depth of misery, lost in darkness. I never realized his pain. His suffering is incomprehensible to me. It broke my heart to think about his torture.
Raymond.. just how much you have suffered...
I try not to cry but it was so hard, I cannot contain my heartbreak inside me.
We went home. I can't let him suffer anymore. But, He was always pushing me away. I want to understand and save him.
I asked Raymond. Because Celine left my house. Because she wants to Play with Kenneth. And I smiled at her. She is so kind. She asked Raymond and he said yes to her but no to me. I wonder what happened to him? That Grumpy Guy.
I went to his study, and I knocked on the door.
"Come in."I entered only to meet a pair of raven orbs looking into my Hazel ones with no emotions.
I said with a pout, "Why didn't you let me go?"
"Because I said so."
"Grumpy!"I said, frowning like a child.
"Watch your mouth." He scolds
"I also wanna go!"
"Leave. I am busy."
"No."
"I. Said. Leave."
"No!" I said with scowl.
He stood up as I narrowed my eyes at him in irk. He walked closer and held my arm. I opened my mouth to speak something but he threw me out,
"Leave."
"You're an asshole!" The moment these words escaped my lips he pulled me inside and pushed me towards the door.
"You are Forgetting your Place day by Day!" He growled, his grip on my arm getting tight making it hurt.
"You are getting angrier day by day" I spat back. "You don't have to be angry or intimate about every little thing!" I said angrily..
He pressed his body against mine. His hold on my wrist became tighter. He buried his face on my neck and said seductively, "Like this?"
"Yes." I said firmly, not moving and feeling the bliss of his touch.
"Hmm? Since you have talked back to me enough... Shall I teach you a lesson.. No wait, let me teach you." Before he could pick me up I yelled.
"No! Wait. I am sorry. Please, I won't disobey you again."
"You are the one who asked for it." He said, pulling me and picking me up and I began to struggle, "Stop It!" He growled.
"Please. Raymond!" I begged, holding the collar of his shirt and burying my face in his chest. Oh no. Celine isn't even here.
"Make me.." He said holding me like the bridal style.
"Please... Raymond Please.." I said with puppy eyes. He stared at me for a while and put me down and pulled his hair in frustration. He cursed under his breath and turned away. If I recall correctly, I never heard him swearing. I hope he is alright, his distress is making my heart clenched. I looked at him concerned and asked, "Are you okay, Raymond?"
He didn't reply so I shrugged and was about to leave but he held my wrist "Stay.." He whispered. "Raymond.." I called him softly. "Just stay.. With me." I don't understand if he is referring to it now or forever? I gulped and nodded. He let go of me and took a deep breath, putting his ruthless wall again and went to his chair as I began to look around.
