"Are you falling for him?" Mother's question shocked me. My heart began to race. I could feel my cheek shading with a crimson. Unwanted sensation rushed in me which I ignored.
"Mum.. What are you talking about.?" I couldn't believe it.
"Look, Love. Me and your father were also forced into an arranged marriage but we end up falling for each other don't we?"
"Mum...it's different, you guys had an arranged marriage not a forced one; on gunpoint, not to mention. I... we... are different. This is complicated between us."
"It's alright love, give him and yourself time. He is your husband now." I couldn't take it anymore. She is trying to give me courage about accepting my fate but it hurt me somehow and I began to cry
"I don't know Mum. He is so broken yet a man of virtue. He didn't love me but still cares. He is sad but cruel and cold. He is afraid but scary. I want... to save him. Every time I looked at him I felt so sad. I pity him. Seeing him like this broke my heart. I want to save him but he isn't letting me. He doesn't want me to save him. He wants to find salvation but he is terrified to search for it and when I want to become the one he desires, he is not letting me. What... what should I do?" I sobbed.
"Oh love... It's gonna be alright. It's been 6 months since your marriage. Give him time. Of course he's gonna love you one day."
"Mum, It's not like that... We are difficult.."
"Love, you need time. You both do. You cannot fix a puzzle in an instant. Take one step slowly at a time."
"I understand... I'll try." I trailed off.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. Kenneth's play is tomorrow. Can you come?" Mother asked sweetly.
"Mum... I don't know.. but I'll try." I really want to see Kenneth's play. I wonder if he will let me go.
"Okay love. Take care. Bye."
"Bye. Love you."
I cut the call and went to have breakfast. My heart began to beat fast. I still remembered his words,
"From now on you'll suffer hell"
I am sure he still remembers them. I saw him sitting with a serious look. It doesn't look like a good time to ask. I greeted him and sat across from him.
Breakfast was served and we began to eat in silence.
"Raymond..." I began to say.
"What is it?" His voice is so stern. I shouldn't have asked him. He is pissed, on a normal day he will let me go but I doubt he will let me go now.
"Well... You see.. Can i go to-" He cut me off by with an authoritative tone,
"You are not going anywhere."
"Please."
He glared at me to shut me up.
And I am me. Instead of shutting up and eating my food in silence and submitting to him quietly I pouted. "I will go." I declared.
He stopped eating and looked at me with a pissed look. His glare was sending terrors to my soul. "What?" His voice lingered in fury which warned me to shut up but I remained stubborn, "I am not your slave." I said firmly. He stood up and grabbed my wrist harshly to which I winced, I also stood up,
"What did you just say?" He asked, infuriated.
"I. will. go." I said in a stern manner this time.
He stared at me for a while and took a step back. He turned around and turned his head and looked at me with his absolute power,
"Looks like you have forgotten what I told you last night" His voice was laced in a menace which gave me a very bad omen.
Looks like I have decided to push him past his anger. I smirked and mocked,
"Please Don't... I am afraid of being saved" He looked at me with a smirk as his terrifying look increased.
"Oh.. is that so?" his voice was low.
"Yes." I said putting my hand on my waist. I am not gonna show him any sign of fear this time, despite the fact that my soul is even trying to leave me for doing this.
He walked closer and put his hands on his pocket and snickered,
"Looks like someone is being brave today."
"I am always brave."
He leaned in.
"Is that so?" He asked amusingly. And his patience is on the verge of breaking.
I closed my hands on my chest and looked at him with pride.
After remaining like that he suddenly grabbed and pulled my hairs and forced kissed me. My eyes widened in shock, I tried to push him away but he was so forceful.
I tried to slap him but his one hand was pulling me so close and deepening the kiss while the other hand was holding my back possessively. He pushed against the wall without breaking the kiss. I can't breathe.
He finally pulled away as I looked at him in disgust. We both was panting, my body froze when he began to say,
"Don't you dare to think it's the end..." My breath hitched as my mind was clouded in pure terror. Crushed under the weight of his vehement words, I lost. I never had a chance against his dominance.
Without warning he tore off my shirt's first 3 buttons. No... He pulled the dress from my shoulder and pinned my both hands with his one hand while the other was pulling my hairs as he kissed and bit my shoulder. He bit so harshly that I cried out from pain.
"Stop!" I tried to say but to no avail.
He pulled away after forming a mark.
"You won't get away easily this time." He growled and opened my shirt, exposing my chest to him. My eyes widened in horror at his action. I tried to pull away from him but to no avail. He moved down to my chest and implanted a kiss over my collarbone, I looked away in revolt, biting my lips to contain my voice, he pressed his chest against mine , "No, Raymond.. Stop."
