XXI
I stare speechless at the picture on the ugly fucking desk, praying to god that there aren't any more, but of fucking course god never listens to me, and so Daniel puts picture after picture on the desk, on each one more visible that I'm driving the car.
"Do you know what this means?" the dick asks and leans forward, looking me in the eyes. "You lied, Dave, if that's even your name. Didn't your momma teach you not to lie?"
I can't control it - in a second I'm in his face, gripping him by the collar, and Biden holding me back. There are a bunch of policemen in the nausious fucking room in a second and Daniel shakes his head. "And now you've attacked me. You truly are trying to do best for yourself."
I feel rage overflowing me simply by looking at his dumb fucking face, my hands shaking from the adrenaline in my veins. There's a million things I'd like to shout at him, but he's right - none of them would help me, so I rather stay silent and give him the hardest fucking stare I can muster - by doing that, he takes a small step back and looks away.
Yeah asshole, you better fucking be afraid of me.
"Anyway, Mr. Sykes, you've crossed the border illegally and by doing this, you've violated Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and are therefore arrested..." my mind turns blank when I hear arrested.
No fucking way.
"Are you fucking kidding me?! I've done nothing wrong you dick! Let me out of this shit place! Biden, help me! I'm not going to jail!" I trash as much as I possibly can but by now, my hands are already handcuffed and there are about five people holding be back and attempting to tame the wild animal I've turned into - I'm not mad at all anymore, no, I'm fucking terrified.
Tears uncontrollably fill my eyes as I'm being dragged into a cell, and I know where that fucking cell leads. My whole body is shaking and I'm an inch away from vomiting all over the floor.
No, no, no, no, no, no, this can't be happening to me, not right now - I can't go to jail!
"My fianc- girlfriend is pregnant, you can't do this to me! I have a career, I need to train, I need to take care of my family! I haven't done nothing wrong! Biden, do something!" I'm yelling like crazy, not feeling any control oven my actions. "Please, let me out!"
Suddenly, I feel a ping in my hand, and I see an injection pulling out of it when I look. "Did- did you motherfuckers just sedate me! Are you fucking kidding me?!" I glare at them, but I feel more sleepy by second and it doesn't take long before I'm completely out of it.

Sophie's P.O.V.
I've been sitting in the same spot ever since they left, fiddling with my fingers nervously - is everything okay? It has to be, Axel's got the best lawyer imaginable, but he's also got quite a few sins.
Oh, god, they have to be okay.
Subconsciously, I place my hand back on my stomach, rubbing in comforting circles. Something doesn't feel right, and I can't place my finger on it. My stomach feels a little harder than usual, and I blame it on the whole stress going around.
"Here, have some tea, sweetie." mum sits down next to me, a cup of my favourite tea in her hand. I'd love a cup of coffee, but I can't drink it because of the baby.
"Thanks, mum." I thank her and with a smile start sipping on it. "Arnold (coach) has his phone ready so if anything goes wrong we'll know immediately." she attempts to comfort me but it's of no use.
I sigh and lean my head on her shoulder. "It's incredible how much has changed, isn't it?" I think to myself out loud and mum nods. "You're living with a man, and you're pregnant with him."
"And you and dad aren't together any longer." I tell her. "We both live in England."
Mum sighs and leans her head on mine, wrapping her arms around me. "Your dad is engaged." she whispers and I look at her with wide eyes.
"Wait, what?" I gasp in surprise. "Yeah, with the woman he was cheating on me with. I'm happy for him, though. He's a great man, things just... Didn't work out, I guess."
I nod in agreement. "I have to call him sometime."
"Yeah, you do. I'm sure he misses you." she says and sighs.
We sit like that for a while, watching television, when suddenly coach rushes towards us. "We have a problem. Axel's been arrested." he announces, his forehead sweaty, looking completely out of place and I feel sick.
"What?" mum exclaims and stands up, whereas I keep on sitting.
"Oh, god." I whisper to myself, and suddenly some type of pain comes from my stomach.
I wince and grip my tummy. "Ow." Mum's attention focuses on me. "Sophia? Are you okay?"
I'm about to nod, when another wave of pain crashes into me and I lean forward automatically. "Mum, something's wrong." I mutter and second later they're both screaming and calling ambulance, while I try to focus on taking deep breaths, feeling nauseous from the pain.
Hold on, my baby. Everything's fine, your daddy will be fine, you just have to hold on, please. Your mommy loves you so much.
