Though he remained silent, Peter from across the table spoke up to console, “I’m very sorry, Mr. Roger, my companion is too crude; it was embarrassing to witness.”
Henrik’s laughter stopped abruptly.
He cursed under his breath a few times and didn’t continue to dwell on the issue. Instead, he pulled out a book from his briefcase and placed it on the table in front of Roger.
“This is what you wanted.”
“Frankly, this type of script is too challenging to learn on your own. Take a look if you’re interested.”
Roger was heartened; with this book in hand, he could try translating the Soul Transference Book on the shelf.
