Author's POV
Their car stopped in front of the villa. Veronica looked at the tight security around the place.
Vladimir opened the car door and picked her up. He looked at her face, red nose, puffy eyes and ruined dress.
He never wanted it to end up like this but everything went wrong. He was aware that they will do something to ruin his wedding but wasn't expecting this massacre.
His guards looked at him as he carried his bride inside the house. She was frozen in his hands. He can imagine how everything has affected her. She isn't used to all this.
He reached his bedroom and took her to the washroom. Veronica stepped back from him when he placed her down.
"Take it off..."
He said. He wanted to see if she is injured somewhere.
"No!"
She stepped back from him with fear, thinking he will touch her. She has slept with him before but that time she wanted too, this time she is forced.
Vladimir closed his eyes and sighed.
"Now!"
He ordered keeping his voice calm.
Veronica shook her head furiously, she clutched on her dress tightly and started running towards the door. But before she gets away with her injured leg, he grabbed her by waist and slammed her against the wall.
She looked at him scared when he looked at her madly.
"I have been very gentle with you, Vera... Don't take advantage of it..."
He spat.
Her body was caged between him and the wall. His face was inch away from hers. He grabbed her chin and her eyes watered.
"If you want your brother alive then you will do as I say..."
He threatened and tear slipped down from her eyes. Today she saw that he can really hurt people and she doesn't want it to happen with her brother.
"And you claim to love me"
She mumbled looking at him with wet eyes and trembling lips.
Vladimir's eyes travelled between her lips and eyes. He released her chin.
"That doesn't mean you can do whatever you want..."
He stepped back from her.
"There are certain rules here..."
He placed his hand in his pocket and looked at her trembling form.
"And the first one is... Always obey my orders..."
She was aware that her life will be like this from now on. But she wasn't going to give in so easily.
"Take it off"
He said but she didn't.
She stood there clutching on her dress tightly.
He clenched his jaw on her disobedience. He stormed towards her and jerked her forward.
Veronica tried to stop him but he was too strong for her. Vlad pressed her against the wall and unzipped her dress.
"Stop!"
She cried, her face was pressed into the wall and she couldn't see what he is doing behind her back.
Vlad ignored her cries and slide the dress down letting it fall around her fee.
Cold air slapped against her body when she stood there in nothing but her white lacy panties.
Vlad checked her back and saw few bruises which he assumed she got when she was pressed against the table while he was busy killing men.
Veronica closed her eyes and tried to hide her chest. She was feeling helpless.
He grabbed her arm and turned her around. He forcefully removed her hands from her chest and inspected her body.
"What's the use of hiding it when I have done more than just watching it..."
He said looking at the red line on her neck. Like something has scratched her.
Veronica kept her eyes on the ground and stayed silent. Vlad sighed at her and picked her up.
She hissed when he placed her in warm water, it burnt her bruises. She struggled but he pressed her down.
"It will be fine... Don't worry."
He said.
He wanted to do more than just bathing her but situation is not in his favour. She is scared and he is angry. If he does something then he will hurt her.
Veronica gathered her knees to her chest and placed her head on it and cried silently.
Vlad almost felt guilty, Almost!
But he doesn't regret whatever he did. He wanted her and he got her.
"Don't remove your bandage... It's waterproof."
He said and stood up.
She frowned when she heard closing of the door.
Confused that he left without doing anything.
Her head was hurting after everything. So much happened in last few days.
She leaned against the tub and gently cleaned her body. She got out of the tub when she finished cleaning herself.
She grabbed the robe and covered her Naked body because she couldn't see her clothes anywhere.
Veronica sat on the stool and removed her bandage to inspect her wound. It was dry and was healing, there was no sign of infection. She threw the bandage away, she never liked it because it makes her itchy. She prefer to keep the wound open even after being a Doctor.
She limped towards the bed and Vlad was nowhere to be seen.
She laid on the bed and was tired of everything. Her heavy head was spinning now.
She fell asleep as soon as she laid her head on the pillow.
Vladimir came back after taking shower in another room, He was just in his sweatpants. His eyes fell on his sleeping wife when he entered the room.
He walked inside and placed the plate of food on the coffee table and sat beside her.
He gently removed wet strand of her hair away from her cheeks.
"You are my hope, Vera"
He leaned down and kissed her red nosetip.
He laid down beside her and pulled her closer to him. She stirred in sleep but scooted closer to his warmth, her head was resting on his chest.
Vlad smiled at her cuteness and turned off the lights.
