Naina's POV
I reached home and ran towards my room and shut the door.
My heart was beating fast.
I had saw him after so many days.
When I heard his voice, I wanted to turn around and hug him but I didn't wanted to look desperate.
But if I tell myself the truth I was desperate.
Desperate for his love.
Desperate for his care.
Desperate to spend time with him.
But when I met his eyes after so many months I just wanted to cry in his arms and ask him.
Why ?
Why he decided to leave me ?
Was I so unwanted for him ?
Why didn't he talk to me ?
Why didn't he forgive me accepted me back in his life ?
But instead of showing my emotions, again, I hid everything and asked him the first question that came to me my mind.
Why was he there ?
Why had he came to meet me?
And then I saw the bag in his hands.
So he is coming back from Jaipur.
He is coming back from Avni's place.
I was just looking at him while he was talking with everyone.
I wanted to hug him.
His hug always made me feel secure and protected but he wanted me out of his life.
Now maybe he is happy as I am not with him anymore.
He wanted this.
I know he loved me a lot but I also know that he never wanted to be with me from the day he came to know about Sameer.
When we were returning from orphanage we were both silent but he broke the silence by asking one question which made me angry.
How was I ?
After everything happened he is asking me this question.
I wanted to tell him I am not fine.
I wanted to tell him that I can be only fine when he is with me.
Was I the only one feeling like this?
Doesn't he feel anything?
Was he fine without me ?
Of course he is fine, he is happy as he got what he wanted.
I hid all my emotions and shouted at him and left the place.

I was taking my class when my mobile rang and I was shocked to see he was calling me.
Why was he calling me?
I remembered the conversation we had few days back.
"Hello,” I greeted.
"Naina."
After so many days I am hearing my name from his mouth.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Why have you called?" I asked.
"So there is a party in my company as we have got a huge project for which we have been working for few months,” he told me.
"Congratulations Ranveer."
"So can you come to the party?" he asked.
"Ranveer we are not together."
"I know but.."
"And will I come as your ex-wife, right?" I asked cutting his statement off.
"Actually I have not told anybody that we had parted ways and everyone in the office wants to meet you,” he said.
"So you are calling me because everyone in the office wants to meet me and why haven't you
told everyone that we are not together?" I asked, almost shouted.
"Please attend the party. Please,” he pleaded.
"Okay,” I finally agreed.
"So on Sunday I will come and pick you up,” he told me.
But what will I wear ?
"I am going to shopping tomorrow to buy gift for Mom so you can join..
"Gift for Mom?" I asked cutting him off.
"Yes day after tomorrow is Mom's birthday,” he told me.
"So you can come with me to buy something to wear at party,” he said.
So he understood what was going in my mind.
Then why couldn't he understand that my heart only craves for him.
"Okay but after this I want you to tell everybody that we are divorced,” I told him.
Divorced.
This word feels so weird.
Really, can a piece of paper make us forget every second we spend together?
"Bye Naina. Tomorrow in the evening I will pick you up,” his words cut my thoughts off.
Evening?
Then what about my class ?
"I can't come in the evening. Is it okay if we meet in the afternoon?" I asked.
"Then I will pick you up at 4 p.m. Bye Naina. Take care,” he said and cut the call.
So tomorrow when he will come to pick me up he will know about my drawing class.
It's okay.
It's nothing big.
One or the other day he would have seen it.
But, the main question running in my mind was,
Why didn't he tell everybody about our divorce ?
