Naina's POV
While we were driving towards the NGO my mobile vibrated to find out that I got a new WhatsApp message.
"If you have got divorced why are you roaming around with him?"
"Look you left me for him but he left you."
"You are mine. Only mine."
I blocked the number.
Why is Sameer again disturbing me?
I thought he left me alone knowing that I love Ranveer.
"You thought I will leave you so easily."
I got a message from another unknown number.
"No baby you are mine. Only mine."
"Your husband broke your heart. I was giving time to heal you but you again went back to him?"
I again blocked the number.
Ranveer asked Mom to go inside the NGO as we went to buy cake for her.
Why is he disturbing me again when he knows I hate him?
We went inside the cake shop.
"So what do you think?" he asked me.
"As there are so many people, we have to take a big cake, right?” I asked looking at all the different cakes and he ordered a mango cake for Mom as it was Mom's favourite.
"I know chocolate cake is your favorite."
I got another message from a number and looked outside the shop but there was nobody.
Is he following me?
I again looked outside but I could not see anybody.
How many numbers does he have?
I again blocked the number.

As soon as everyone saw us they come and hugged me.
"We are so happy that she will be celebrating her special day with us and thanks to you." everybody said and I gave them a smile.
Everyone was so happy.
After cake cutting we went to have lunch.
The whole restaurant was occupied by us as we were so many people.
"Thank you for today,” Mom said.
Everyone was so happy.
I was happy seeing them happy.
"As we always say you are really lucky to have Naina in your life,” Nilam aunty said and he looked at me.
No aunty.
I was the mistake of his life.
I hurt him so much.

"So what we will make?" he asked as we came home and we were lying on bed.
It felt so normal.
Thank god!
I got no text messages.
"We will make matar paneer, rice, aloo dum and dal,” I said scrolling through YouTube.
Nowadays YouTube is everyone's savior.
I looked at him to find him staring at me.
"What?" I asked.
"You look beautiful,” he said and caressed my cheek.
It's been so long since we are so close.
I got up.
"Why are you doing this? We are not together,” I asked and then he also got up.
"Sorry, I don’t know what came over me. Anyways we will not make roti?" he asked.
I wanted him to say something.
Fight with me.
Fight for me.
But he was the one wanted divorce, why he will fight for me?
"Do you know cooking?" I asked and he looked at me in confusion.
"No."
"And you want to make roti? Rotis are hard. The dough should be perfect
It had to be round in shape and our hard work will get waste if we burn it. So let's stick to rice,” I told him and he laughed.
Whenever he laughs I am happy.
After we had our afternoon tea we went out and bought everything we needed and then we came home and made tea for Mom and gave her.
"I am so happy. This is one of my best birthdays,” she said making us smile.
She looked so happy.
"Okay. Let's go in the kitchen,” he said and we went in the kitchen.
"I am so happy to eat something made by you guys. Anyways I will not disturb you guys,” she said and went to her room and we went to kitchen and I sat on kitchen counter.
I love sitting on kitchen counters.
I know, I know I am crazy.
I was shocked looking at what he was doing.
"Why are you removing your shirt?" I asked.
He was looking so hot.

"You are behaving as if you have never seen me naked. In fact you are the only girl who has seen me naked,” he said with a smirk on his face.
Why does he says things like this?
And, that smirk on his face, which makes him look more handsome.
But, I don't know why but it made me so happy.

"The shirt will get ruined while cooking. I forgot to bring another shirt and I can't sleep with ruined shirt and Mom does not have apron,” he told me

"So tell me what we will do first?" I was sensing that he was tensed.
"I have this all planned and sorted. Don’t worry I am here,” I said.
"She is saying as if she knows everything,” he mumbled under his breathe but I heard it.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing."
"So we will keep rice and potatoes to boil. Till then we will cut onion tomatoes and all that stuff," I said.
"Oh yes...we will cook dal in pressure cooker,” I said and he kept potato and rice to boil.
Then looked at me.
"What? Start cutting,” I said.
"What will you do madam?" he asked.
"I will sit here and taste everything from your hands,” I said.

Why do I always say wrong things?
He came in front of me and parted my legs and stood between my legs.
"As you wish sweetheart,” he whispered in my ear and start cutting the onions.
He was looking so hot while cooking.
That bare chest and that bare back.
"Aah..." he shouted.
Are you mad? How can you cut your finger?” I said as I took him to the washbasin and held his hand in front of cold water.
I went in the hall and took out handkerchief from my bag and tied his finger.
"Move. I will cut,” I said.
"No. Cutting is risky. I don’t want you to get hurt. I am happy when you just sit on the kitchen counter and look at me,” he said and went back to cutting.

What did he just say?
"I was looking at you because I had nobody to look at,” I said and he looked at me.
"So if you had the chance who will you look at?" he asked.
"That hero! I will look at him,” I said and earned a glare from him.
I would not dare to look at anyone except you but I will never tell you that.
"Okay,” he said and finished cutting onion and started cutting tomatoes.
The rice and aloo was boiled and he kept the cooker which had dal in it.
I went and took out the paneer from the fridge.

"Take a bite and tell me how it is,” he fed me a bite of matar paneer.
"Put some more salt in it,” I said and he put more salt.
And then he fed me aloo dum.
"We have put excess spices in it, but anyways Mom will understand."
He put on his shirt hiding his hot body from me.
We served the dish and called Mom.
“Both of you will join me,” Mom ordered and we sat together.
"Wow! It's delicious. I am proud of both of you,” Mom complimented.
"Thank you Mom. I cooked everything and Ranveer was just sitting and watching me,” I lied and laughed as he gave me an angry glare.
"Thank you Naina. It's delicious,” Mom said.
"Yes Mom she made everything,” he said and I was surprised that he lied.
I was just having fun with him.
I thought he will tell the truth.
"I am so glad you both will be spending the night here,” Mom said making me surprised and I looked at Ranveer.
Ranveer thinks Mom does not know anything.
Mom is pretending like she does not know anything.
Great!
"I forgot to bring my clothes,” I said as Ranveer was looking at me.
"I don’t have clothes of your size so you can go early in the morning and get freshened up there.” Mom told me.
I knew she was doing it intentionally.
"Okay,” I said.
Even though I knew she was doing it intentionally but I don’t want to break her heart.
After dinner I washed the utensils as had cooked the dinner.
We decided to sleep in the hall even though Mom was insisting us to sleep in the bedroom but we didn’t like the idea of her sleeping in the hall.
I came back from washroom to see that Ranveer was laying on a mat and beside him was my mobile.
I hope he had not sent any messages.
I had not seen the mobile from the afternoon.
I went and sat beside him and checked my mobile to see that there was a new message from an unknown number.
Oh god!
Not again please.
"Tomorrow is a very special day."
"You know why?"
"Why are you not replying?"
"Are you with your ex-husband?"
"Anyways I was saying tomorrow was the first day I saw you."
"I think you are busy with your ex. Good night sweetheart, we will talk tomorrow."
Sweetheart.
"Are you okay?" Ranveer's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Yes,” I said and laid down beside him and switched of the mobile and closed my eyes even though sleep was miles away from me.
Should I share with Ranveer?
I should share it with him because if Sameer find his number and send him something, it will be a problem.
If tomorrow he sends me any message I will share it with Ranveer.
I saw that he was already asleep.
Maybe he was tired .

I took my bath and had my breakfast.
Ranveer dropped me early in the morning and went to his house.
"Where were you yesterday night? I was calling you but your mobile was unreachable."

I had forgotten my mobile in Mom's house.
I have to go and bring it before she leaves for NGO
"Dad I will be back in some time,” I washed my hand, wore my sandals and left the house.
I crossed the road and was waiting for an auto but there was auto.
I decided to take a shortcut and walk till next stop and take auto from there.
How can I forget my mobile?
I felt a cloth over my mouth and everything went black.
