No One’s POV

In one swift Zayden placed on the pants that he had dropped nearby and hurried to Grace’s side. She was lying motionless on the ground, her hair covered her face and he gently reached over and pushed it back. He was fuming in anger but after looking at her innocent face, he started calming down.
He gently picked Grace up into his arms, holding her close to his chest. Though he was sure that Grace didn’t get injured in all this but still, he checked her again to reconfirm about the same.
“I am sorry Alpha.”, Eric apologized, bowing down his head in shame. “We are too late.” While Zayden wanted to be angry with Eric and blame him for not reaching in time but he couldn’t, he believed that everything happens for a reason and maybe his truth had to come out in front of Grace in the same way.
Just like Grace came to know about his criminal’s life without his wish, in the same, now Grace knew who he actually was!
‘If it's from the heart then good.
if not, then it's even better since that's the wish of God.’
Zayden was not tense with the thought that Grace knew his truth now but was happy that Grace came back, she came back for HIM. She could have run away just like he had said to her and he would have handled all the wolves but instead, she returned, to ensure whether Zayden was fine or not.
Zayden knew that he could never be a good human-like Grace, he had lost him THAT part, long ago. Only Grace was the one who could complete HIM.
“It’s alright, Eric.”, Zayden said, and looking around the scene in front of them was a bloody mess, every single of the wolves who had planned to attack them was dead. Zayden and his wolf were full of rage with the thought that they planned to do this when Grace was with him and unknowingly they ruined the dinner plan which Zayden had planned with Grace. Zayden was glad that his wolf didn’t stop until they were all brutally killed, their bodies in pieces before his eyes. And still, it didn't feel like enough. He wanted to put them back together only to rip them into shreds again.
“Get rid of these bodies and blood before any human gets on the site.”, I ordered.
“I will take care of it, Alpha.”

Grace’s eyes snapped open when she heard the sound of the bird. She had to blink twice to adjust her eyes as per the bright light in the room.
It was morning already. She looked around and her eyes popped out in shock when she realized that she was not in her room. The first thing she checked was her clothes. Thankfully her clothes were intact to her She scanned her surroundings again and finally saw the person because of whom she was here.
He was sitting in a corner, studying her like she was some kind of mysterious book. That’s when Grace recalled the incident which happened last night!
The wolves...Zayden!
What was he?
“Werewolves!...We are werewolves.”, She received the answer to her unasked question.
‘He is a Monster. Oh My God. A monster who can change into a wolf on full moon night.’ Her eyes widened in fear and she cringed back on the bed. She thought it was her turn next. He will either eat her alive or kill her with the gun. All the fear came rushing to her body and features, and she found it difficult to breathe.
Zayden looked at her sacred body and felt bad for her. She obviously had not seen anyone changing into a wolf, also had never seen such violence in her life. He knew she was feeling scared but he couldn’t do a thing about it. He didn’t have any other choice last night. He had to kill those wolves otherwise they would have ended up killing HER. He also knew that Grace would hate him forever, which was true.
“You haven’t eaten anything since last night. Freshen up quickly then after having breakfast, I will drop you home.”, Zayden said in a not so gentlemanly tone. If he can’t win her heart by his fake sweet behavior then he planned to use the forced way.
“I...I w.want to go h.home.”, She whispered in fear.
“I don’t like to repeat myself, Grace. If you want to go home then do what I am saying.”, He said, which was more like a command. Tears started welling into her eyes but before they would have rolled down from her eyes, she quickly ran toward the washroom because she knew it was all a waste to talk with that monster. By the time she came out, the breakfast was already there but she hated the fact that she had to eat the breakfast with HIM.
Grace was trying hard not to cry but was failing miserably.
“DON’T CRY, GRACE.”, Zayden’s tone was again rude this time. He realized that the thing which he hated the most in the world was her tears. Grace quickly tears from the back of her hand. “Now eat or else I will eat you like my breakfast.”, He tried to joke but Grace didn’t consider it like one. All he wanted to have was breakfast with her and nothing was going to stop him, not even her.
Fear enveloped her soul and for once, she thought of running from the place. But was that even possible? She took the spoon with shaky hands and advanced her hands towards the plate. He noticed her quivering hands and cursed himself for hurting her like that. She sniffled and ate. She hated herself for being so weak!
‘I can’t even stand up for myself. Jesus! I hate this monster…
“Stop hating me, Nitya! What I did last night was important. I know you can’t understand that now but I am hoping you will understand one day.”, Zayden defended himself. But she was not going to believe him anyway.
‘Do werewolves have the power of hearing what the other person is thinking?’, She wondered.

Half an hour later, Grace had finished her breakfast. She thought of skipping half of it, but he asked her to finish every bit of it because he knew that Grace was hungry. He had finished his food too early and watched her eat and sniffle at the same time. When she finished her food, he stood up, gesturing to her to come with him.
“Let’s go.”, he said. Grace followed him like a calf, after all, she didn't have any other option rather than following his orders. Grace was so engulfed in her thoughts that she didn’t bother to check her surroundings. She was thankful that Zayden didn’t say anything because she didn’t want to talk with him. All she was thinking about was ‘how will she explain everything to her mom?’. Even the drive was quiet. But she had no idea that the author was going to turn her life upside down soon!
