Third Person’s POV

It was quiet then, no one said anything. Grace was looking at her sandals while Zayden was looking at her intently. “Here…”, Zayden forwarded her mobile. “You dropped it while running.”, He added.

Grace raised her eyes and saw him already looking at her with an unknown expression. Seeing that she quickly took her mobile and lowered her gaze. At the same time, her mobile vibrated and she saw 18 missed calls from her mom and 7 text messages.

“Thank you, Si...Zayden.”, She muttered. “C.Can I go?”, She asked way too politely like an obedient child.

“Okay. Let’s go. And from tomorrow onwards, I will be dropping you at your home.”, He stated seriously but his statement blew her sanity.

‘No way! If he will drop me then he will come to know where I live. And then he will realize that I lied to him yesterday.’, With this thought, she started shaking her head vigorously. “That won’t be required, Z.Zayden! You must be a busy person. S, why waste your time on this?”

She started regretting speaking those words when she saw Zayden’s mood change back to an angry young man. “Anything that concerns you is important to me. So, keep in your mind that I am always available for you. Since. I have already decided what I will do, so this topic is not open for discussion. I will be dropping you off. Now, let’s go as there is no way in hell I am going to let you walk alone.”

Zayden wanted to take the car but went against that idea because by car, they will reach Grace's house within a few minutes and he wanted to spend some more time with her. While Grace being the weak one, followed him like a calf.

“So, do you travel every day alone?”, He asked to keep talking to him. She pondered whether she should answer him or not but then, it was better to speak because she really didn’t want his gun to speak.

“No, with my father. Last night, he was sick so I asked him to stay at home. While today, he went to the city because of my marriage proposal.”, She answered casually. A blow of jealousy ran in his vein. At first, he liked her father for taking care of her until now but when he heard that he was trying to look for a suitable groom for Grace, he started fuming in anger.

‘She is mine, only mine.’, His wolf growled in his head. Zayden couldn’t understand his wolf, he always behaved strangely when things came to Grace.

“What’s your name, wolf?”, He asked but then his wolf hid somewhere in his mind. Since he was born with no wolf, he got this wolf by Moon Goddess when he was 26 years old. He didn’t know much about his wolf except for the fact that his wolf was one of the most powerful wolves but a cursed one. Since Zayden wanted nothing except power, he chose his wolf without thinking much about its outcomes. At that time, he didn’t realize that our every decision affects our life sooner or later.

After five minutes or so, they reached her home. He looked at Grace, who was looking at her sandals like a lost child.
“Sweetheart, We are here”, He said calmly.

Grace finally lifted her head and looked around only to find that she was standing right in front of her house. ‘How the hell does he know about my house? Or Maybe he brought me here so that I could guide him to my house.’, She thought and saw John’s house. She couldn’t forget what happened last night. Those memories were still fresh in her mind.

“This is not my..my house.”, Grace said. Listening to her lies hurt Zayden, and he replaced his hurt expression with anger.

“Really?”, He challenged her. He gave her one chance so that she could speak the truth. Grace thought for a while to speak the truth but to keep her family safe. She went against her decision.

“Ye.Yes”, She tried to sound confident.

“You mean to say that this house is not the same as where you shoot my video and uploaded it over the internet?”, He stated angrily, making Grace jump a little back because of fear. She looked at him with her big green, doe eyes.
