Chapter 6
I decided to attend my class because I was feeling so much better. My stomach cramps disappeared completely. After freshening up I decided to put on some comfortable clothes. So I ended up wearing a black knee-length skirt with a blue shirt. After having a quick breakfast I headed to my college. It was a half an hour walk from my house.
The actual big day starts today. I thought of preparing the right study schedule. My next priority was to find a job. I made sure that my job doesn't collide with my studies. I really needed to focus on it. It’s my main priority though.
I decided to go straight to my class rather than walking here and there on my campus. Few of my classmates were already present but Ria and Rose haven't reached yet so I decided to give them a call.
I called Ria but she didn't respond to my call so I called Rose. After ringing for few seconds she took my call and said that they are on their way to the class. The forgot to ask Ria about the boy she mentioned yesterday.
I took on my mobile and played while waiting for them. Others in my class seemed to had a lot of fun on their own. I needed to socialize with my classmates. But they seemed so different not the type of people who are good at keeping company with. Many looked at me like I am different than them. I had my doubts regarding them. They looked powerful like they from a different world.
Their style may be plain but they looked beautiful like others.
" We missed you yesterday. Also, the party was so fun. We were thrilled to be there " Rose told excitedly which made me come back to reality.
I could tell that they were speaking from experience. "I know I am sorry about that I was really so I needed to get home early as possible I can. I will explain everything later.”
Ria made me swear not to miss another one. What a nice girl!
A boy entered my class which caught my attention. I was shocked by the memory of who that person was. I almost hid and looked away in the opposite direction of him.
“ Oh shit. Shit shit. Not him.Why him? "
" What's the matter? Why are you hiding? " Ria asked me.
" You know guys. That guy in the green shirt. I fought with him in the changing room a few days ago.”
“Is he in our class? Do you know him? “ I asked the girls nervously.
“Are you ok Maria? Of course, he is in our class. His mom is one of the managing directors of our college. “ Ria explained.
“Whatttt? Oh no. Things can't get any worse than this. I just fell into the lion's den. Now I remember who that girl was. She is that girl with him. Great. Now they gonna make fun of me " I mumbled.
“What? We can't hear you, Maria. Speak loudly. " Rose said with a look of confusion.
" Yeah, I will explain everything later guys. Please can I sit in the middle, please? " I begged.
They agreed and allowed me to sit in the middle. Rest of that class I made sure that idiot didn't notice me. I hid between the girls. I must explain that incident to them during the lunch break.
I never knew that guy was in my class. Not in a million years. Between my classes, I peeked at him to see what he was doing. I caught him putting his hands around that girl's shoulders while talking about something. I do keep his attention on the teacher though. He was kind of good at multitasking.
If he spots me I will be in big trouble. I even slapped him. Yeah, he deserved that but still, his mom is the manager of this college. I don't know what will happen to me from now on. Maybe I should wear a mask to hide or change classes. No no, it's too late for that. What an embarrassing day for me. He was the one who caused the problem so there was nothing to worry about.
He was such a spoiled brat. His parents must be filthy rich.
" oh hello, earth to Maria. Wake up. It's time for lunch. Let's go to the usual spot. “ Ria glared at me.
Sometimes she looked so scary with that eyes. They seemed to shine at me.
“ Yeah let’s go” I replied.
But before heading out I made sure that guy went out. Yes, luck is with me this time.
I was eating my sandwich with extra caution about my surroundings. I made sure that the boy was nowhere near me. The girls are having their lunch as well. In between, I decided to tell them what happened between us. The girls seemed curious too. I explained what happened between us. He was an asshole so there was nothing to worry about.
The girls' facial expression remained unchanged. In between they held their curiosity but still, they don't seem very surprised to hear that from me. So I became more surprised. What with that attitude of them?
“So what do you think guys ?” I raised an eyebrow.
“We are not very surprised? “ Ria said while drinking.
“Huh. I don’t understand why are you not very surprised “ I asked curiously.
“ What the hell was I even asking? " I talked in my mind.
“ Because Mike Anderson is an asshole and we know about that. “ Ria explained while looking at the surroundings. Rose agreed. I agreed. He was an idiot for getting his hands on the wrong person.
I needed to hide from him. But I was 100% sure that won't work because I going to spent the next 3 years with him. That guy is pretty rich too and to add he was quite popular with everyone especially girls. His family owned this college. Maybe I should go and apologize to him for slapping him. If not he will surely ruin my life.
