“We should postpone the wedding don’t you think.” Kenzo suggested sitting beside her on the bed. She shook her head slowly.
“We ain’t doing any of that. Everyone is waiting for our wedding, we can’t just postpone it anymore. I’ll be fine before the wedding.” She exhaled.
“How long have I been here?”
“A terrible week.” He blurts out before he could stop himself. She gave him a look.
“Guess she’s gone right? To the grave. Such a lowlife..”
it was Kenzo’s turn to look at her with a glare.
He couldn’t say anything else. He didn’t know how he felt these days.
He comes home every night, thinking he would find her on the couch waiting or in his room. What he found was emptiness.
She wasn’t here, why does it seem so difficult for him to understand that she was gone and with the look in her eyes.
He doubt if he would ever have a place in her life anymore. She was never coming back to him.

“Master, you’ve got a call!” Buka announced from the door. Without hesitating he stood up, going out of the room. Ezra who was standing outside got in, immediately he came out.
He walked lazily to the telephone and received the call.

“I called to say thank you. I tried calling for days but you weren’t picking.”

“I was hoping you would be chance to be with us for Christmas in Vietnam. We could stay a day together..”

“I’m sure you saw or heard about the news that I’m getting married to Zara Gilbert. It’s no news. The wedding is in two weeks. You should come to see us wed.”

“To me it does, everything. Take care son.” She hung up on the phone.
Kenzo huffed puffed. Walked out of the house, he needed something to cool off with.

He sauntered to the car park, entering the Lamborghini since she had taken the limo he bought, crazy bitch!

He would go alone, without taking anyone with him. He would go over to the bar and just get a drink. Drink till stupor.
“Elina, I’m off to work. See you after work!”
Barbra yelled. She had an evening shift. And she had to be there, that was here she was running off to.
Elina slumped on the bed, with a groan, was a little bit tired of all the chores she had been doing. It’s been a week and it’s felt like two long days. She had been here, indoors, talking to no one except Barbra.
She needed a change of position, she had to go out, for tonight. Clear her thought off Kenzo. Since he seems to be dwelling much in her thoughts these days.
Breathing out. She glanced around. She couldn’t stay here alone, she was feeling bored already. Having some fun wouldn’t be bad, would it? She jumped up. Running through the wardrobe. To get a dress.
She found one and brought it out of the wardrobe.

She ran out to the bathroom. To have a cold bath. She turns on the shower, stripped herself off her clothes, and stood underneath. As the water runs down her body.
Taking up the silver strip gown. She wore them on her body. It was short and hug her figures as usual. She sat down on the front table. Taking the mascara on the table, just a light makeup would do for the night.
Staring at herself in the mirror, she looked perfect. She smacked her lips together and stood up from the chair, taking her small purse, and walked out of the house, shutting the door behind her.
Tonight she would go somewhere, Barbra wouldn’t find her, the bar Kenzo had taken her, where she had met his father. And this time she would fully enjoy herself, besides she had his black card with her, remembering she hadn’t taken her gun with her, she ran back in, she shouldn’t forget such important stuff like that when she was going into the lion’s den, into the party of the mafia, the gangster and the billionaires, she might get lucky getting to meet one.
