CAST OUT Chapter 49

The four corner room was small and dark. Only the grunt sound coming from the room was heard. And then a little rustle. Someone flicks the lights on. It shone the man, with a tape around his mouth, he was tied to a chair. He wasn’t blindfolded. He struggled with the ropes, but stops when he saw Kenzo came into the room with Aziel behind him. His breathing increased. “Tell me who are you, and why you were after Sally Brown?” “You mean, you shameless mother.” He scoffed and leaned on the chair. “If you know what’s good for you. You’ve got to let me go. Else you won’t be able to face the penalty.” Kenzo laughs and approached him in a deadly way. “Who sent you?” He asked. He laughed. Throwing his head backwards. “Hazard? Lord Gilbert?” Aziel asked. “I haven’t seen him around any of them. I’ve never seen this man before.” He replied himself. “I don’t wanna make this hard, so it’s better you start spilling else we’ll feed your body to the dogs.” “Feed my body to the dogs? Ha! Who the hell do you think you’re!” He yelled. Kenzo chuckled and held him by the chin roughly. “You know who I’m. Ain’t hiding it.” “Go to Hell! Let’s see how it’s all gonna end. You can’t do anything.” “For someone blabbing like this, you must have someone powerful behind you, if you had been with Hazard or Gilbert you would have known better who you’re dealing with.” He only laughed and spat on his face. “Kenzo Brennon, to hell with you.” He brawls. Aziel was shocked. Kenzo pulled out an hanky from his pocket and wipes his face with it. Gave it to Aziel, Aziel took and toss it to the trash. He relaxed on the chair. “I’m sure they’re aware I’m missing already. You’ll be so doomed Kenzo. Just like your father. Well you couldn’t say he’s your father.” He laughed louder, which only annoys Kenzo. “I was thinking of being fair with you. I think I was all stupid.” He pulled the gun out of his pocket. And aimed at him forehead. He saw him shivers a little at the sight of the gun. “I ain’t a man of patient but I was ready to be with you. But seems you wouldn’t be getting any of it.” He brought the gun down to his groin and pressed it, so he could feel it. “I would start from here.” He gulped. “I gonna ask just once, If I don’t get an answer, I’ll blow it off. That would be a warning. I’m not gonna kill you so you go over to your boss and tell him. He shouldn’t mess with the man called Kenzo Brennon.” He did felt it. The coldness of his words. The deadpan look he had. Everything about him right now was fearful. This was the man called Kenzo, he had finally got to see his wrath. “Tell me the name.” If he spill he would disclose his master Savage, it’s better than dying, isn’t it? But what if he kills him even after he called the name. The man was unpredictable. “I don’t know.” He blunt out. “Alright. Farewell then. You’ll definitely see again in hell.” Then he pulled the trigger at his groin. His screams filled the room. He cried in agony. This was beyond death to him. “Ain’t joking.” He lift the gun again. Towards his left eye. “No!” He cried. “Pl-ease.” Argh! He pulled the trigger, on the left eye. “You shouldn’t mess with me.” He turned to Aziel. “Take him, wrap him very well in a gift box. To Savage. I’ll text you the address.” “Savage? Isn’t he dead?” “Only a fool would believe that. You can’t kill a man as him so easily. Send him to his boss. He should come face me. This is just a warning.” He tossed the gun aside and walked away from the room. Aziel blinked. Savage was alive, everyone thought he was dead. He was shot dead. Maybe he didn’t die after all. If Savage was alive, he would come for his master. And the bloody war was sure. He opened the door of the room and saw her cuddle up in the bed. It was already past 12 when he came in. He thought she would be up waiting for him so he came a bit earlier than expected. Her hands on her stomach, as he approached the bed, he sat on it and saw her whining in pains. He panicked. And touched her forehead. She wasn’t running a temperature. What was wrong. “Hey, Small, are you okay?” She gripped his hands, like she was waiting for him. Down to her stomach. “What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” She placed his hand on her stomach, rubbing them. “Did Sambas hurt you?” “Cramps.” She whispered. “Cramps?” He brows furrowed. Trying to understand what she meant by that. She has cramps. She lift her eyes to look at him. Baffled by the puzzled look on his face. “What do you know?” She scoffed at him. He wasn’t the kind of man to know anything about a woman, what she was going through or what’s happening to her. He wasn’t the romantic man. He doesn’t know. She pushed his hands off him. Turning to her side. So she was backing him. Is she mad at him? Could she blame him. He wasn’t like most men, he didn’t know anything, never went to school, never read novels or study about women. His tons of books were all about war and actions, success and a whole lot of nonsense. Which meant nothing to her. He stood up from the bed and took off his shirt. Why was she in his room anyway, she was supposed to be in hers. He sat down on his desk, looking up the internet, Cramps, she said that was what was hurting her. He strolled down his phone reading everything he found out about Cramps. She turned and saw him staring down at his phone, she scoffed. Why was she trapped with someone like him. She hissed and looked away from him. Stuffing everything he saw on the internet in his head. He stood up from the desk he saw and walked out of the room. She almost cried when she heard him shut the door, he left, just like that. Asshole! “Bastard!” She cussed out loud. “Really? Small..” she sniffed and looked up at him. To see him standing beside she with a small tray which contain a three glasses. He sat down. Staring at her teary face. He dropped the tray on the table. And wipe the tears streaming down with his fingers. He got on the bed beside her and pulled her into his arms. “I thought you left.” “To get your something. They said it helps for cramps. I got the ones in handy.” “What did you get.” “Milk, cold water and orange.” He kissed her forehead. And cuddle her up in his arms. She sighed softly, feeling more relieved on his body. Maybe he was all she needed. “What took you so long?” “Business.” He replied. And stroke her hair. “How did your training go, he didn’t stress you did he?” “He didn’t.” He kissed her head again. “Drink up.” She nods. There would be a moment she would be separated from him. A time she won’t get to see him. Again. And he would be far from her side. She could feel it. That he would one day leave her.
