Azrael was taken aback by the sudden notifications, but he didn’t stop and continued following behind Ashara and Silas.
’A Soul Armament... What is this?’ He wondered, a slight frown forming on his face.
At the same time, the phrase ’Your Soul Armament’ bothered him a little.
Ashara had told him that she was bringing him here to retrieve something that belonged to him. That meant it was something connected to the original Azrael of this world.
But the task that appeared before him was clearly stating that whatever this Soul Armament was belonged to him.
’Am I and the Azrael of this world the same person?’ He pondered but couldn’t reach a definite answer.
Even if he believed that the reason he had no memory of living in this world was due to the Cold Blooded trait—which, according to Ashara, erases the wielder’s memories to make them emotionless—there were still a few lingering questions he couldn’t find answers to.
First of all, if he truly was the Azrael of this world, then what about all the memories he had of living on Earth? Were all of them just a dream?
Second, even if he believed that those Earth memories were just an illusion, then what about the state of his body when he first woke up in this world?
When he opened his eyes for the first time here, his body had clearly never come into contact with cosmic energy.
If he were truly the Azrael who was born in this world, it would have been impossible for his body to be untouched by cosmic energy.
’I thought with the help of my Infinite Comprehension trait, I would be able to learn and understand everything... But this situation really is beyond me, even with my trait...’ Azrael thought bitterly, then pushed all those thoughts to the back of his mind as there was no point in overthinking it.
For Azrael, the goal was simple—become strong enough that he would never again face the kind of helpless situation he experienced on Earth.
Even if he somehow was the Azrael of this world, that goal wouldn’t change. So, he simply decided not to dwell on it any longer.

When he stood outside the hut, Azrael couldn’t see anything inside. However, as he stepped past the door and entered, the scenery before his eyes shifted dramatically.
Azrael looked around and found himself in a place that resembled a vast warehouse.
There were many shelves inside, all filled with a variety of strange items.
Some looked like weapons, others like accessories. Some were sealed boxes, and some were simple-looking objects like bells, glass marbles, and countless other things.
Though Azrael was stunned to see so many strange artifacts, he didn’t have the time to dwell on them because he suddenly felt a fatal attraction to something deep within the warehouse, as if something hidden there was calling out to him.
"Can you feel it?" Ashara asked, noticing the way his gaze was locked onto the depths of the room.
Azrael nodded silently, eyes still fixed in that direction.
Ashara smiled slightly upon seeing his response and took the lead. "Let’s go. We are here for the thing you’re feeling right now."
Azrael quickly followed behind Ashara and Silas.
Soon, they stopped in front of a massive black metal door, engraved with patterns that closely resembled formation runes.
"Azrael, drip a drop of your blood on the door," Silas instructed once they arrived.
"My blood...?" Azrael raised an eyebrow at Silas’ unexpected request.
"This door was made in such a way that only you can open it," Ashara explained. "Aside from the painting we used to enter this realm, there are a few other entry points into this space, located in different parts of the Genesis. You’ll understand more about them later. For now, all you need to know is that we created this room so that no one but you can access or interfere with what belongs to you."
Azrael was a little confused after hearing Ashara’s explanation—especially the part about there being other entry points into this world—but for now, he didn’t ask anything and simply nodded.
He pointed toward Ashara, who created a needle using her cosmic energy and lightly pricked his finger, drawing a drop of blood.
Once the blood welled up, Azrael pressed his fingertip against the door.
Immediately, the engraved patterns on the door began to glow.
Like slithering serpents, the glowing lines crisscrossed across the surface, and soon a faint unlocking sound echoed from within.
Azrael pushed the door open—and in that instant, the terrible aura he had felt earlier outside the hut surged outward from within the room.
Ashara and Silas turned their attention to him to check whether he was affected by the aura, but to their surprise, Azrael’s expression remained calm.
In fact, he was staring into the room with eager eyes, as if something was drawing him in with irresistible force.
"Go on," Ashara encouraged when she saw the look on his face.
Without hesitation, Azrael stepped into the room.
Compared to what had just burst out when the door opened, the aura inside the room was even more intense.
But Azrael ignored the overwhelming pressure. His eyes were fixed on the sole object in the room.
At the center of the chamber, dozens of golden chains crisscrossed tightly, binding a glossy black greatsword.
The blade of the great sword looked as though it were made from pure obsidian glass, and within it, clusters of star-like dots shimmered faintly.
However, unlike the brilliant stars of the night sky, the ones within the sword had no glow. They were completely dim—like lifeless stars.
Even so, the black greatsword was stunning. It radiated beauty and power despite the deathly stillness of the stars inside it.
’Is this my Soul Armament...?’ Azrael murmured inwardly, his gaze locked onto the chained greatsword before him.
Looking at the sword, he immediately felt an overwhelming urge to approach and set it free.
