Rose Hastington
"Rose?" I got back to reality when I saw Kevin's hand waving in front of me. I looked to him and he raised his eyebrows.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah." I nodded weakly and I felt bad for him because I just space out while eating with him. I looked at him and just can't stop admiring how caring he is towards me.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"It's fine, I think you're tired. Let's just go home and let you rest." He smiled, oh Kevin why are you so sweet and caring. How I wish I meet you first before Max took my heart.
"Let's just wa-"
"Rose, we can go tomorrow. Chill." He smiled and caressed my hand.
"Is something bothering you? You can tell me you know." He asked and I looked at him.
"Nothing.. work got me good." I said and smiled awkwardly.
"I see, let's go. I'll take you home." He stood up and took my hand. He pulled me out from the restaurant and it's raining. I didn't realise it because I was too busy with my own world.
"Stay here okay? I'll take the car.”
"Kevin no-" He already ran away, he's so sweet. I swear it. Suddenly my eyes caught something, I narrowed my eyes. As soon as I realized, I glared at him.
How dare he stalked me!
I jumped as a car stop in front if me, it's Kevin's. I got in fast and Kevin drove away. I looked at Max's car again and can't believe that bastard still stalked me.
"Is there something wrong?" He asked and I sat up straight.
"Nothing, I just thought I saw my friend back there." I reason out and he nodded.
"Rose.” He called and I turned to him.
"Yeah?"
"I really like you Rose.. I just can't stop thinking about you. You're making me crazy." I turned to him, "I really like you Rose.. do you wanna go out with me? Be my girlfriend?" He asked and I wanted to shout 'Yes' but somehow my lips froze and I can't find my voice.
"I know this is quite fast but I can't handle it anymore. I really like you Rose.. you're just amazing and just.. I can't describe with words but I just like you a lot.” He expressed it all and I can't even find my voice to answer him.
"You don't have to answer it now." He turned to me worry and I smiled.
"Wait for me? Will you?" I asked slowly.
"I will.. of course I will Rose." He smiled and at the same time we arrived at my house. I got out and waved at him. He drove away and after Kevin left, a car parked in front of me. I know who that is so I quickly turned my body towards my house.
"Rose.”
"Let's talk.. okay? Hear me out.”" I took my keys out from my bag when I felt Max backhugging me. I immediately pushed him away from me. I turned to him.
"I don't want to hear your bullshit." I glared and opened my door, I walked in and I know he walked inside too.
"I was calling you at that time, when she walked into my office. She took my phone away and I don't know you're answering it , she sat on my lap and kissed me. I don't know why but she smells like you and it-"
"I don't want to hear your crap making out with Jennifer. Go out and never talk to me again.” I said coldly.
"I admit that I'm wrong Rose, please give me really one last chance. I wo-"
"It's over Max, done! We are done even we never start it. I have a boyfriend now, so just back off." I looked at him coldly.
"I don't believe that." He shook his head.
"I regret choosing you over Ashton.. I really regret that. That is the biggest regret of my life." I said his face fell.
"I love you Rose." I froze and looked into his eyes.
"Wow Max.. I've been waiting for that words to come out from your mouth for 11 years but too bad I don't love you anymore.” I crossed my arms in front of my chest.
"Since the first time I lay my eyes on you Rose.. I know you're the one!” Bull****!
"Yeah yeah whatever, you can go now.” I turned into a heartless.
"Come back to me, Rose." He walked to me and held my hand. I quickly pulled away my hand from his grip.
"No.. I have a boyfriend Max don-" I stopped because he suddenly leaned his head down to mind.
"I have to go back to New York tomorrow, I'll miss you. I promise I'll come back next week or in 4 days-"
"Do I look like I care? Go back there and never comeback here. I don't even care if you die, dying or whatever." I said coldly.
"I love you, Rose." He gave me a peck on my cheek and smiled.
"Crazy bastard.”
"You always say that when you're angry with me" He ruffled my hair, he's sick.
"Don't touch me!" I smacked his hand away.
"Take a rest, I know you have been stressing about me.. My flight is in 2 hours so I have to go." He smiled, I looked at him in disgust. He’s sick for thinking that I will get back to him.
"Just go, I don't want to see your face.” I said coldly, he stole a kiss to my forehead.
"Bye, don't worry about me. I'll text you when I get there. I'll miss you Rose and I love you.” He smiled, he waved at me and I just turned away from him. He left and I can’t believe the thick walls that I already built crumble all over the place again.
I cried all my heart out that night and I just realized that he still has my heart. He still has all of it.
'I love you Rose since the first time I laid my eyes on you.’
That’s the sentence that I've been waiting for 11 years, he said it. He said it when our situation already went really worst. Why can he just say that long time ago? I hate him!
