Max was 18 and Rose 14.
I tied my hair up into a bun and checked myself again one more time before going to my dance class. I slung my bag to my shoulder and walked out from my room.
I walked downstairs and saw my brother's friends talking and eating. My eyes landed on the guy to wore a black shirt with grey basketball shorts. I slowly walked down from the stairs and looked at him intensely because he caught my eyes.
"Where are you going?" Luke asked.
"Dance class." I said as I arrived downstairs, I looked at his friends and landed on the guy that caught my eyes last. He looked at me intensely too.
"This is my friend by the way Rose." Luke said.
"Sebastian, Kenneth, Jonathan, Chris, Aaron, Sky, Alex and lastly Max." He pointed at them and they just gave me a brief wave. His name was Max, I'll remember that. Max smiled at me and I felt my heart beating so fast, I smiled at him awkwardly.
"I'm Rose, Luke's little sister.” I said but looking at Max.
"You can go now." Luke pushed me to the door and I glared at him.
"Don't crush the house into pieces." I warned and he scoffed.
"Bye Rosey." He closed the door in front of my face and I hissed. What an annoying brother he is but I'm happy seeing that guy. He's cute.
I walked to my dance class and have a 2 hours class. After that I walked back to my house because I’m so tired and need a rest. I walked into my house and bumped into someone as I opened the door. I looked up to see that blue eyes, I blinked a few times and he just smiled.
"Rose right?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yes." I answered awkwardly.
"How old are you?" He asked but I was too distracted.
"Rose? How old are you?" He asked as he waved his hand in front of me.
"Me? I- i'm 14" I suttered.
"Okay." He nodded and why did he asked my age? I wanted to lie so bad so he can notice more but remembering that he’s my brother’s friend.. I can’t lie.
"You're going home?" My eyes widen as I said that, I never care about people before. Not even my brother why do I suddenly care?!
"Yeah." He nodded weakly and I moved aside so he can walked out.
"Bye.” I said awkwardly.
"Bye.. see you around I guess." He smiled widely and I just dumbstruck. He walked away and closed the gate.
"What the hell are you standing there like a statue?" Luke looked at me weirdly while holding the door knob. I walked inside not answering his question when a ball suddenly flew in front of my face.
"Owh!" I almost screamed.
"Sorry." I glared at him.
"Easy Rose." I think his name is Sky or Alex.. damn I forgot.
"I might get a black eye!" I bursted.
"Shut it.. Just go upstairs." Luke said annoy and I just hissed and made myself upstairs. I threw myself to the bed and can't stop thinking about Max. His handsome face, his beautiful smile and not to mention that he's nice. HE REMEMBERS MY NAME! How awesome is that?
I jumped as someone opened the door , I saw Luke raising his eyebrows.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Lend me some towel will you?"
"For what?" I looked at him weirdly.
"My friends are going to shower but I only have 4 towel and I need 4 more." He said and I shook my head.
"It will be so disgusting.. no!" I said and he hissed.
"B****”
"Asshole!" I shouted as he closed the door.
"W****!" He shouted back and that annoyed me. I wondered if his friends will come often? So I can see Max again and again, oh my gosh! This is my first crush.. Max is my first crush.. I have a crush towards my brother's friend.
Oh Rose, Max won't even look at you.
I walked to my full body mirror. I sighed loudly. I'm skinny, I have a flat chest, I wear no make up, I’m pale and my blonde hair is just everywhere. Who would want that? Gross! I have to change.. I have to be sexy so handsome guys can check out on me right?
I'm a girl that doesn’t give a f*** what people think about me but I care.. since I saw Max, I want to be pretty. I want him to see me a proper girl. I just saw him but I become insane.. it's weird.
Will he like me? No!
Will he check me out? No!
No no no.. this is insane. I'm out of my mind.
"Rose honey." My mom knocked on my door and opened it slowly.
"Yes mom?" I asked.
"Let's have dinner." She smiled and I nodded.
"What's with the face?" She asked as she walked in.
"Nothing.” I shook my head.
"I know there is something Rose, tell me. You know you can tell everything to me right?" She sat on my bed and smiled. I turned to her.
"Mom can I go to the gym?" I asked and she raised her eyebrows.
"Why? You already have a dance class, it's tiring Rose and you're still 14.”
"I want to be healthy.” She suddenly smiled widely.
"You have a crush on someone, do you?" My eyes widen and I shook my head.
"No.”
"Gym is not good for kids who still on their grow timeline Rose.. you won't grow tall.. how about this? I have a friend who is a swimming trainer. You can swim for awhile and maybe next year or when you turn 16 I'll let you go to the gym." She asked and I smiled. I walked to her and hugged her tightly.
"Thankyou mom.”
"Welcome.. so which one do you like? Alex? Aaron? Ken?" My eyes widen and I laughed awkwardly.
"None mom.. none.”
