Then he released me when he saw someone, and then he faced Steve. His hand left my body, yet his touch lingered even for a brief moment.
"See you soon, bud," he said to my kid, and they faced me at the same time.
I don't know if I'm imagining things, but I've let my guard down again and turned where he was heading and it was towards that girl he was with earlier, and then I saw Christian and pretended to waved back to him and he was approaching us.
At the same time, when LiamLiam leaves the pineapple floater and a question in my mind, and what does he mean by "see you soon", then I shook my head.
