He reminded her of the predator she had thought about earlier that evening and was more excited than scared. She wanted to back off but her feet refused to move. Back in her room, Ava slid down the door to the floor after she made sure it was locked. Although she didn't think Alex was such a man, she wasn't willing to take chances. She squatted and covered her face with her face feeling overwhelmed. It was all too much to take in. God, what had she done? She asked no one in particular as she recalled everything that had happened in the last few hours.
