Anthon took Gabriella’s hand and started to walk to his car, and she let him even though she already booked an Uber. Gabriella waited for Alex and Amber to be out of sight, “I actually already booked an Uber, see you tomorrow.”
“Are you just using me to make Alex jealous?” Anthon asks realizing that he might never get Gabriella into bed as she is not really into him.
“What? What are you talking about?” Gabriella chokes on her words.
“You only show me affection when he is around,” Anthon plays the victim.
“I don’t know what you are talking about, my uber is waiting,” Gabriella waves the phone so that he can see and walks away.
“Bye, I guess,” Anthon says holding back his anger.
Gabriella felt relieved to get away from him. As Gabriella got into the Uber, she heard Anthon sped off.
‘Perhaps I should just text him and tell him that he is right,’ she considers.
Gabriella rests her head backward and falls asleep.
“Excuse me, mam, we are at your destination,” the Uber driver wakes her up.
“Thank you.”
‘That was a good nap,’ she thought as she walks to her home not noticing Anthon’s car in the driveway.
Gabriella unlocks the door to her house. She was about to enter when she hears Anthon calling out to her.
“Gabriella.”
“I didn’t even see you there,” Gabriella admits. ‘What is he doing here, can I never get a break?’
“Since we are officially a couple, I thought we should have dinner together,” Anthon says, walking over to her.
“Yeah, sure.”
Once inside her house, Gabriella took her shoes off, “feel free to get comfortable.”
“Do you like to cook?” Anthon makes his way towards her kitchen to wash his hands before inspecting her fridge and kitchen cupboards.
“There is some beer in the fridge,” she calls out as she makes her way up the stairs.
Anthon takes out a beer after seeing that she has nothing to cook up for dinner. Anthon opens the beer and walks towards the living room. After getting comfortable on the couch and taking a sip of the ice-cold beer he takes out his phone to order some food.
Gabriella changed into some comfortable clothing; sweatpants and a loose t-shirt, “let me see what I can cook up for dinner.”
“Literally nothing. I already checked. I am ordering us some Lasagne,” Anthon says typing away on his UberEATS app.
“Oh, ok. Well, it was not like I was expecting a guest.”
“Come, relax while we wait for the delivery,” Anthon pads the couch for Gabriella to sit next to him.
Gabriella didn’t really want to get cozy with him, but she felt that at this stage she might as well be all in, into the relationship as it is not as if she has someone better, ‘accept Zurier, but he is my patient, and I am sure that is against hospital policy.’
Gabriella sat next to him leaving some space between them.
“Come closer,” Anthon pulls her into his arms and before she knew it he starts to kiss her.
Gabriella decided not to fight it and kissed him back. No matter how hard she tried to enjoy it she just could not drag her mind away from her patient Zurier.
Gabriella is glad when her doorbell rings, “I’ll get it.”
Glad to be loose from Anthon she pulls herself together and opens the door, “thank you.”
Gabriella goes to the kitchen and places the lasagne into plates, knowing that Anthon would probably not want to eat out of take-out boxes when there are plates available. Gabriella purposely puts the food on her dining table as she does not want to sit next to him on the couch and eat.
Anthon noticed that she is setting the table and makes his way over. Gabriella took her place at the table and waited for Anthon to start eating first.
After dinner, Gabriella is surprised that Anthon helped her clean up, ‘guess this relationship could go somewhere, always liked a guy that helps around the house.’
“Any plans for the evening?” Anthon asks after they cleaned up.
“Yes, I have to work out a new therapy program for my patient, Zurier.”
“Is that not the guy that got attacked the same night as you?” Anthon tries to fish out.
“Yes, that is the one, but he still has no memory of what happened.”
Anthon wondered how that guy got messed up so badly so near them and they didn’t hear a thing that night, ‘I wonder if he saw us?’
“So, I guess I will see you tomorrow at work?” Gabriella tries to politely hint that it is time for him to go.
Anthon didn’t really know how to extend his stay for the evening, ‘how am I going to get this woman into bed.’
Anthon embraced her and started to kiss her deeply tracing his hands down her back and slipping them under her t-shirt rubbing her back. Gabriella doesn’t want to have sex with him as she is scared that Anthon will just use her like Alex did but right now, she kind of feels that it is expected of her to allow it to go to the next phase.
Gabriella could feel Anthon’s hands moving down her back and she knew what he is about to do, regretting that she didn’t put on any underwear. Gabriella hated wearing underwear and thought if she dresses ugly that Anthon won’t find her attractive and that the night won't lead to anything. Anthon slips his hands under her pants and massages her bum. Gabriella could feel his manhood pressing against her. Gabriella didn’t know if she wants to push him away or give in to him.
‘Thank goodness, it seems tonight will be the night,’ Anthon thinks to himself, pleased at where the evening is leading.
