Alpha's Hated Mate
Camilla's POV
Adrian stayed staring at me like he couldn't believe what's real and what's not just like I didn't. After a while he speaks.
“How are you?”
“I'll be fine soon as you stop looking at me like that.”
"I'm sorry I haven't seen you like yourself in a long time."
“Oh I missed you but Aunty Amaya…” I say looking done.
“I missed you too.” he says, hugging me.
“Why are you waking this late?” I say looking around the office with socks, loafers and junk food around the table.
“I do most of my work at night because I hate going to an empty bed, without you there.”
“Well you won't have to sleep alone ever again.”
“I hope so.” he says, kissing me and I blush. The taste of whiskey on his lips is forever unmistakable.
“Can I get you something to eat Sheryl said you didn't eat?”
“Yea.” I say smiling.
“Wait here,” he says, sitting me down in his chair. A few minutes later he returns with some food and I eat a little. Then dash to the strawberries, strawberries in this pack are yummy as hell.
“Did these get better?” I ask as he watches me and I roll my eyes because he doesn't respond to me. I take another bite of my strawberry and moan.
“Mia don't do that.” Adrian warns.
“Sorry it's just so good.” I moan again.
“If you keep doing that they'll no longer be strawberries for you to eat.”
I take another and bite on it suppressing the moan. He shakes his head and smiles.
“Adrian.” I frown.
“What's wrong?”
"Sheryl didn't tell me what happened to the baby she said you'd tell me did I lose her?”
He smiles. “We didn't lose any baby you carried them to term.”
“Them? Did we have twins?”
He chuckles and smirks as he opens his mouth to respond to me. There's a baby crying that interrupts him.
“Come let me show you.”
I take his hand and he leads me upstairs to his room. Our room. There's five cribs inside just beside the bed. My mouth drops wide open.
“Mia meet our Quintuple headache.” he Says walking to one of the cribs and picks up the baby that was crying.
My lips went wild agape at the revelation. I thought I had one baby but it turned out to be five.
“This noisy girl here is Arabella.”
I hold her finger and dab her nose. A tear drops on my clothes I didn't know I've been crying, spilling tears of joy. “Hey pretty you look like me.”
“They all do all 5 of them.”
“5 that's a big number?” I ask shocked five kids decides to take over me, well I won this time. He won the first time with Arieya so it's my turn now.
“I’d still like 4 more.” Adrian made his plea known.
“No,” I snap fervently.
“Are you leaving me again?”
“Never I will be here with you forever.”
“I love you.” He pecked my daughter's cheek as she giggled before he slid up towards my lips pecking me on my lips.
“I love you too.” I reply.
We made it despite all the obstacles and I'm going to be loving him for a really long time even death has no power over our love.
