"Hahahahaha Come on Xavier, you won't get rid of me that easily"
"Oh Lyle you never change, but you have served me well not just as a lieutenant and an omega but as a loyal friend"

He was pleased with him. They've both won territories, and wars, and together they've kept the pack safe for years and they've been inseparable for all these times.
So he had to let him live his life with his wife and mate. They've been working nonstop all their lives even when they gave birth to their son Gabe. They never for once stopped working and for this Alpha, Xavier is very grateful.
"Aha Lyle I have been meaning to tell you this"
"Sure, what is it?" Lyle asked
"It's about your son's old friend"
"Oh Gabe, what about him? Are all ears"
"Your son Gabe is a hard worker and a great fighter, that kid is destined for great things I can feel it."

While discussing Gabe knocked on the door
"Speaking of the greatly destined one, Here he is," Alpha said and summoned him to walk in after which Gabe said
"Greetings Alpha am back from Alpha Liam's pack"
"Great, how is his mate holding up?" Xavier asked
"She is still trying to settle in"
"Really meaning they still have differences and yet to make up"
"Yes Alpha, I think she is trying to accept the fact that she is destined to be the bride of a werewolf."
"Then it's your job to make her get used to it cause they need to be mated really soon to avert something big from happening"
"Avert something big Alpha? What is that about?" Gabe asked with all seriousness.
"Gabe in the line of Alphas if a Luna doesn't marry an alpha within 3 years it could mean great turbulence for either one of them or both of them later in life or the pack will be in grave danger after the time given. That's why you would need to make her used to our kind and accept them so they can both get bonded" Alpha Xavier said
"I will do my best Alpha but one more thing"
"What is it, my son?"
"I belong to your pack not his"
"Yes that is true"
"So why would I leave you here my alpha and go to him?"
"He is my friend's son and I am sure he will take very good care of you, my dear. I will send you over there as your new base. And no you aren't leaving me alone, you are simply fulfilling your destiny. There is nothing much for you to do here. But over there? You will do marvelous things. You are always welcome here son, but your new home is over there. With Alpha Liam, you will be my eyes and ears over there. If you need my help and advice you can always reach out to me."

Gabe said bringing out the sacred box he was given earlier so he could disappear to find Alpha Liam to give him the information of Clara's capture.
"Keep it, Gabe," Alpha Xavier said
"But Alpha it is yours and it's sacred"
"It is sacred, yes, but it is yours now. Keep it as a souvenir to remember us over here my dear, take it as a gift from me"
"Wow I am grateful to you alpha thank you for this precious and sacred gift"
"You are welcome my dear"
"I will be sure to keep it safe, and to cherish and protect it with every fiber of my being"

"Thank you Alpha, I will spend the night here and then go home to town to get some few things after which I will go to my place of primary assignment."
With that said Gabe bowed and left for the dorm. There he met with Philip, a weird wolf kind of different looking from the pack.
They call him a rare breed, and he has the makings of a beta, omega, and an alpha combined. And that he was to be feared. He is one of those kinds of wolves that brings pain and mystery wherever they go unless they are loyal to the right cause and such is Gabe's friend here in Alpha Xavier's pack. They have been through a lot together, though Gabe is older than he was, they consider themselves brothers. They were both roomies during training. There is nothing he wouldn't do for him (Gabe) if he asked for it.
He had gray eyeballs for starters, the pupil's bluish red, the lens pure white. For others, he is a scary werewolf, because he can shapeshift to whomever he has crossed paths with. Gabe is inclusive, so for this reason he is kept in Alpha Xavier's pack for security reasons.
"Gabe, where have you been going, big bro?" Philip asked as soon as Gabe walked in.
"Phil it's been a lot for me to take in bro"
"Kind of missed you in here dude"
"Yep I do too"
"So Gabe care to fill me in on what you've to be been up to?"
"Of course, actually. It's about my human friend the beautiful one I told you about the other day"
"Oh your only lady friend, Clara isn't it? What is it? Wait, don't tell me you asked her out and she refused. Don't worry, I can change into her and tell you yes"
"Ha-ha Philip, you can be very troublesome. You've never changed."
"What? Am being nice Buddy."
"I will punch you right now. Anyway she is fated to be the mate of Alpha Liam"
"Whoa!! That's new. It's like rare stuff to happen."
"Yeah you could imagine how shocked I am"
"No wonder you've been distant lately. So is that all you've been through?
"Actually that's not all. She is finding it hard to accept his kind"
"Doesn't she know you are a werewolf?
"The thing is she does, but she accepts me but not him. So that's why I have been going off and on all this while"
"Actually I saw you running back into Alpha Xavier's study the other day. I waited for you outside hoping you would come out but you didn't. What was that all about?"
"Yeah actually she was to be sold to the eastern warlord by her parents so she sent me a text, that was when I ran in, to break the news to Alpha so he gave me a magical box so I could quickly appear to Alpha Liam's town to get him to rescue Clara in time."
"Whoa!! That truly was a lot bro... I wish I was able to help. I would have loved to fight the war, it's been a long time since I fought so if there is anything in the future that you need extra hands I am always available. Am sure Alpha Xavier will let me go with you. You are like a son to him."
"Thank you, buddy."
"Sure, as for the alpha mate thing I can assure you Gabe they will fix it. No matter how long it takes, they will be okay?"
"Okay thanks, Phil"
"Come on let's pack up the things you said you were leaving for alpha Liam's pack"
"Hmm... When did I tell you that?
"Ha-ha you just did"
So Gabe and Phil both laughed and began packing Gabe's stuff into a box since he was moving out soon.
"You keep this shoe for yourself Phil"
"But it's your favorite, no I can't"
"Yes it's my favorite, but you are my favorite too so I want you to have it"
"Thanks, big bro, you are the best. Always know I am available if you need me, Gabe"
So they both hugged affectionately and Gabe left.

"Come in"
Clara saw it was Eric at the door and said again
"What do you want Eric?" Clara asked when he came in through the door of her room.
"I want to talk to you"
"If it's about Liam forget it"
"Well it is about him, can I sit?"
"Do whatever you want to"
"Luna, Alpha Liam needs yo..."
"No no don't call me that okay? I am no one's Luna so please don't you dare call me that"
"Fine, Liam needs you in his life, Clara"
"I don't want to hear you say that"
"Clara, if you've ever viewed me as a brother as you call me then please listen"
"Am listening"
"Ever since you left his room he hasn't been himself, you need to go back there"
"I am not doing any of that Eric"
"Clara, Liam has been so out of control lately."
"What do you mean?"
"He is throwing tantrums in his room right now"
"What?"
Clara has fallen deeply in love with Liam over the months, but she just can't accept the fact that she will be marrying a half-human half-wolf kind of person. But other than that she cares for him deeply within. So she ran out of the room she moved into after that argument. And raced upstairs to his room, but he wasn't there. She ran into his study, there he was, he has already broken a big vase on the floor. He was about to break a glass cup when she rushed in.
"Clara" Cole muttered and Liam looked back and found Clara standing there with her arms folded on her chest and was enraged at the sight before her so she asked.
"What the hell do you think you are doing here Liam?"
"Clara, why? Why are you doing this to me? I told you I love you and you moved out of the room? I can't stay in there alone, I need you, please come back to me, to us. We miss you. I can't do anything without you please come back"
"Why wouldn't I? I feel like am being cooped up in your room"
"I just can't let you go please I can't do anything without you please don't avoid me"
"Whatever I am not in the mood for this, you better get your act together, you are an Alpha, you have a whole pack to run and take care of, neglecting your duties just because our arguments are uncalled for, so just stop. I am not in the mood for this." Clara said after which she turned to leave but Liam ran up to her and held onto her from behind.
"Please whatever it is I did I am sorry, I should have considered your feelings first. Please don't go. Stay with me I beg you. Don't leave. I will never forgive myself if you leave me so please don't go. I beg of you Clara, I want you to be the mother of my kids, just don't leave me I won't be able to make it"
Clara pushed him away angrily and shouted at him saying,
"Let go of me right now, let go now"
She ran out as fast as she came in and ran into her room and shut the door. And began sobbing uncontrollably.
Liam was in his study crying his eyes out as well, they were pitiful to look at.
Eric couldn't bear seeing this anymore, he needed Gabe right now. He has tried talking his best friend out of it but it did not yield any results went to talk to his Luna in the making but she is just as stubborn as the Alpha is.
He went into his room to think of what to do next to make them make up. Because they were both acting like two kids when they aren't one. And this made Eric tired of all the drama before him. He needed help. He can't do this alone.
Just then the door opened and a voice said
"Eric I am back"
