"Hey, where the hell is you taking me to," I said, resisting his gentle pull in the opposite direction. "I want nothing to do with you, I only followed you because I wanted no harm on my pack members."
"Why were you here with all your pack members, do you think you stand a chance against me," he asked, raising his perfectly craved eyebrow.
"Oh...yes I do, have you forgotten how I beat your fellow male alpha to pop? So if I were you I will tread carefully on how I handle me or else you will be next."
I said with a smirk on my face, It felt so good seeing the smirk on his face fall to the ground.
He let out a low growl and tugged my hand again, "Well, you must be exhausted. Come, come. “he insisted pulling me to him.
"So I need to go home, mate, I'm not staying with you."
He smiled again but it was fake with a brief twinge of frustration. Be look like he was so close to pulling his hair out.
"You're coming home with me," he replied, pulling me with a little more force further away from the border separating our too pack.
Home! It felt so good hearing him say that.
"Excuse me, I'm not going to be staying with you. This is not my home, you are not my home Rain."
He let out a short breath, " I'm your mate, I'm your alpha and if you don't come with me your pack members will get it. I know you don't want that do you."
He looked and spoke as if he was fighting hard not to lose his patience. Did he not hear me?
"What? Are you now blackmailing me". I said.
"Do I have a dumb bitch for a mate? I don't have a simpler way to put it," he said, his face straightening. "You are coming with me. And yes I'm blackmailing you, if you don't come with me I will tell my pack warriors to go destroy your pack in front of you and you will watch all your hard work crumble to the ground"
"Why? why are you insisting so much on me coming with you, when you don't want me.?"
"Because you..." he said, pulling me closer to his chest, "Are mine now."
I stood for a moment inhaling his alluring scent, pulling me into his trance. Shivers round my body, butterfly in my tummy.
He took my hand firmly and continued walking.
"I don't even know anything about you other than you are my chosen mate the one I was unfortunately destined to be with and I'm supposed to go home with you? And whose pack is this, where is the alpha, where did you keep him after unjustly overthrown him?" I asked, "And who gave you the right to decide what I do?"
He didn't answer but his grip on my hand tightened. He was lucky I wasn't too strong but it doesn't mean I will give up without a fight.
"Wait," I ordered, stopping again. "I demand that you answer my questions and stop dragging me like some kind of animal!"
"For fuck's sake," he growled before spinning me around and grabbing my arms, pulling me into his chest. "I tried to be gentle with you but now I have lost my patience."
I tried to shove him off me but he was impossibly strong. So as I wriggled and squirmed, I felt his eyes on me. He glanced down at my neck, uncovered by my hair before looking back at my face.
"Don't even bother trying to fight me. You won't win," he said, still with a low growl.
I paused in his arms, trying to catch my breath. After taking a deep breath, he brushed the disheveled hair from my face.
"Now.. what is your favorite sex position?"
"Get the fuck off me, you pervert" I answered, trying to struggle out of his grip again.
My mate was a pervert, a big asshole.
"I take it then to you like doggy style." He said with amusement.
I broke my hand free and slapped him across the face. A notion of anger swept over his features, turning the amused expression into one of indescribable rage. The gentle being once in front of me had disappeared. In his place: a murderous monster.
He pulled me back into him, this time, pinning my back against his chest and wrapping a tight arm around my throat.
I stopped fighting him and instead brought my hands to his arm, ensuring he didn't start strangling me. For the first time in my memory, I was helpless. This man could do anything.
"This whole stubborn empowerment thing is hot, but save it for the bedroom, sweetheart," he growled.
"Now, did I mention how I don't enjoy repeating myself? What is your favorite color?"
"You have not told me yours," I gasped. "Yet you are the one dragging me through a forest in the opposite direction to my home. "His grip tightened around my throat and I whimpered. He was going to kill me, I never pictured my mate being the cause of my death.
He laughed as I clasped at his shirt with my fingers, "Please let me go."
"I love it when they beg, that’s how I love them," He said. "It always comes with desperation."
"Please," I whispered.
He loosened his grip on my throat.
At no point did he block my windpipe, but the panic had taken siege of my lungs and I gasped for air.
"Your favorite color?" he asked again, his lips right by my ear.
"Black" I mumbled.
He let go of me before twirling me around to face him.
He smiled and took my hands.
"It so typical of you, just like your name, mine is white. Let me get a few things straight, Emerald" he began, "You are coming with me and you are going to be my mate, as the Moon Goddess wants. You will submit and obey. You won't raise questions and you won't disrespect me or there will be punishments. Okay?" He said, before kissing the side of my head, "Take what just happened as a warning."
I clenched my jaw. With oxygen back in my lungs, my blood boiled. How dare he use his strength against me? How dare he assume authority? He was lucky I was getting weaker by the second or else he would have been dead by now.
So I lifted my leg and kicked his shins. He barely even winced but his distraction was enough for me to slip out his arms and run, trying to run as fast I can back to my territory. I don't know why I agreed with Ethan, now look at what I was suffering.
He didn't follow me at any great speed but I sprinted through the forest as fast as I could.
"I happen to love to hide and seek, my dear," his voice said.
It was as if he had allowed me to get away so he could hunt me down.
I scurried over to a thick-trunked tree and lay my back flat on it, searching for a branch to use as some kind of leverage.
He was big and I was small but the branches on this tree weren't strong enough to hold even me.
"These games never last long though," he continued.
With so much fear and adrenaline pumping through my body, my breathing was uncontrollable. I took a deep breath and held it as I scanned the darkness for a tree more suitable to climb.
I couldn't use my dark magic on him or shift into my wolf, she was dying inside on me already to have his mark.

I finally spotted a perfect tree only ten meters away.
I spun around and headed straight for it only to crash into something incredibly hard. Either I had misjudged the distance to the tree or I had lost this game of hiding and seek. A pair of hands wrapped around my waist, confirming the latter.
"God taming you will be difficult but not impossible, I'm sure it will be fun for me and an adventure for you." He said under his breath, before he pinned me to a tree, standing so close his breath fanned over my face.
I took a short breath in and froze.
"You are mine, Emerald, your body so and spirit are all mine to control and worship," he said before pausing.
His scent reeked of power. His manhood was pressed against my core and I was tempted to grind on him.
"But something tells me deep down you already know."
He brushed a displaced strand of hair from my face as I looked back into his gray eyes. They were so cold and piercing and the thought that had been toying at my consciousness since I first saw them came spinning back.
"Say it," he added, his voice commanding and sharp.
