Rain midnight
I broke another pen in half and threw it in the trash can. I wasn't so sure how many pens were now inside the bin because I lost count after the tenth one.
My wolf wouldn't stop irritating me about her. I didn't want her but why does he? She wasn't what I dreamt about, how my mate would be, she was the total opposite and I can never sacrifice all my beliefs for her can I?
"Don't deny and lie to yourself, you need her just as much, or have you forgotten how you were screaming her name last night after the wet dream you had." My wolf blasted.
I was tired of arguing back and off with him, this past few days I and my wolf were behaving like tom and jerry.
"You are right, I need her, for the hot sex, the one I have always dreamt of with our mate, nothing more." I shot back and I could feel him roll his eyes back at me.
" Yeah, deceive yourself anything to make you feel better.” he retorted.
" You know I will never agree to have her as our equal, she must end up in the torture room soon or later after she is done with throwing her tantrum."
" You piece of shit if you try that with our mate, I promise you, you will end up wolf less" he threatened to retreat to the back of my head.
Finally peace.
There were knocks at my office door and I let out a grumble. Why can't just have peace, it was all Emerald’s fault every since I meet her, I have been sexually frustrated leading to my pissed-off mood.
"Leave me alone Andrew," I
growl, thinking it was my beta who has been whining about his mate telling me to do something about it. I have been getting pissed especially with the other alpha who has been asking for more updates on my plan to tame My mate.
The door opens and Stephanie comes in dressed like a seductress. She has a fake smile on her face and halfway sits on my desk so that her ass will be plumper.
"What do you need Stephanie," I said rolling my eyes. Stephanie was one of the other girls who was trained to be my mate and Luna who will meet my needs, she had boring brown eyes and wasn't as beautiful as Sofia but after seeing my mate the both of them together combined don't stand a chance to my mate's beauty even if there try.
"You look like you need a release," she said walking closer to me and trailing her finger along my jaw. I let out a growl and pin her up on the nearest wall.
"This is the last time we're doing this," I whisper in-my ear. She lets out a small laugh and stares into my eyes.
"We both know that that's a lie," she said seductively in a voice that was meant to turn me on. She sounded like a dying cat.
Stephanie's chest heaved up and down as I put my pants back on. I didn't realize when she pulled my pants down, she was an expert on being a slut.
She gave me a little smile as I start to button my shirt back up.
If only she knew I never enjoyed sex with either her and Sofia, it was always like fucking a tree, a talking tree.
"So I was thinking about asking you about Lun-,"
"Get out," I cut her off. She stared at me with her mouth wide open. I lean on my desk as she still stared at me.
"What do you mean get out?" She snapped back at me. I let out a chuckle and crossed my arms and stared at her.
Oh she has lost her manners and I will teach her what I do to disobedient girls, but right now I was in no mood of being a teacher so she was lucky.
"I can speak it to you in French if you like since you don't seem to understand English," I growl.
"I will forgive you this once but next time if you disobey or question my authority, I won't think twice before throwing you into the dungeon of snakes or snap your neck in half."
Her eyes widened in fear from my words. Trust me nobody wants to be in my dungeon of poisonous snakes.
She let out a huff and changes back into her clothes and storms out of my office.
I slump back into my office chair and let out a sigh. I pick up my pen and start to twirl it in between my fingers.
My wolf wanted to run but I had no time for that. I was already behind on paperwork dealing with pack lands and how to overthrow the two other useless packs close to my mates.
I don't need this land because I don't think any more packs are rising but it could be useful to train troops. I was doing this mostly so I could be closer to my mate and protect her against those trying to kill her.
After she left my pack warriors found two dead wolves in the forest and I'm still investigating what went wrong. But one thing I know was that my mate's scent was there and I was sure she left because those two other wolves wanted her dead. The question was who sent them.
I sit back in my chair after a few more hours of paperwork and stare at the picture of my mom and me. If you look around the house you can only find one picture of my father. His portrait in the hallway of remembrance that he was king for a time until I ended his regime.
You will never see him in any family pictures or family paintings. He was banished from our family decades ago until he came back and killed my little brother, then I ended his life in cold blood. I stared at the scars on my arm inflicted by him and roll my sleeve back down to hide them.
My wolf kept begging to be let out and I finally slammed my hand on my desk and unbuttoned my shirt. I couldn't focus with all his whining. I slipped my pants off and opened the door to my balcony.
I jumped off the edge and shifted in the air landing swiftly on my paws. I sat back and let my wolf take control. The sun was starting to set and he began to run. I smelt a few dears in the distance but he ran past them.
He kept running deeper into the forest letting every leaf and twig snap under his pressure. He started to near the border of the pack but didn't turn away from it.
He ran until he crossed the border thanks he shifted his run to the left. He crossed through the trees and came to an abrupt stop. He made me shift back and I let out a grumble.
"Alpha the warriors are ready to start attacking." My beta said walking up to me naked.
I had asked Andrew and other of my pack warriors to prepare for a war with the forest green pack and the red blood pack. I wanted to take control over their pack to be closer to my mate.
"Good but first get a short, nobody wants to see your dick." He let out a laugh and collected some shorts a warrior handed to him.
"Now let the war begin.” I roared out ready to pounce on some wolves.
