Nora stopped looking for a job because she was scared to go through what she went through the other time with that man. If that Diego guy hadn't saved her only God knows what would have become of her. "Was I too harsh on him?" Nora asked herself. "Maybe I shouldn't have lied about my name." She thought as she shook her head. "Get yourself together Nora, don't be fooled." She reassured herself. She laid down on her bed as thoughts of her relationship with Michael came flooding in.
***Flashback***
Two Years Ago
Nora was reading a novel at the park. She was sitting on the green grass with her snacks close beside her. She was having a good time alone with just herself. She had plans to look for a job but she knew she had to enjoy herself before working or she might not have time for herself when she starts working besides she hasn't have that much luck in getting a job.
She was still enjoying her time when the weather changed and it started drizzling. Everywhere became dark. Everyone was running picking up their kids and stuffs as they ran to get shelter. Nora tried to look for shelter but the rain was getting heavier and heavier. She ran and the only shelter she found was a car whose door was left open, she looked inside to see if there was anyone but it was empty. She looked around and hopefully no one saw her. She entered the car and shut the door a little. "I will just wait here till the rain subsides." She told herself but few seconds later, she fell asleep.
Michael just got back from using the rest room. He entered his car and drove off unknown to him he has a visitor in his car. Michael was a rough driver but he has never had or caused an accident, he was skillful in that aspect. He suddenly bumped on something which made the cark jerk up and down. "Aarrgh!" A groan came from behind. He suddenly steeped on the brake bringing the car to a halt. He turned back to see a girl with curly black hair packed up in a ponytail, her olive skin tone was wet from the rain, her oblong face with few pimples here and there and her orange patched lips. He couldn't take his eyes off her. How the hell did she get into the car? he thought.
'Who are you?" He asked her.
Nora held her forehead with she used to hit the seat in front of her when the car jerked up. Her eyes turned to see the guy in front of her. He had ocean blue yes with a face-cap on his head and a nose mask covering his nose and mouth. She couldn't tell if he is cute or not and she wasn't even interested to know. 'Where am I?" Her soft voice asked.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY CAR?" He yelled at her. Nora was about to reply back when she processed what he said.
Did he just say his car? Nora asked herself looking at the car and when her eyes met his, she bowed her head and bit her lip regretting why she entered the car in the first place.
"WHO ARE YOU?" His sudden outburst sacred the shit out of her. "Are you a stalker?" he asked his voice a little lower.
Stalker? Why would I be stalking him? she asked herself. Wait! if I say I am, will he let me go? She thought. But there's only one way to find out.
"Yes." She replied. God forgive me for lying.
"What? How did you get in here?" Michael asked.
Nora pointed to the door. "It was opened."
Michael hit his hand on the steering wheel. How does he keep forgetting? Maybe it's because he is used to someone opening and closing the door for him. "Ok. You can leave now." He opened the door for her. Nora looked out the window and it was still raining heavily. She hated the cold and she didn't want to get sick since she has no one who would care for her if she did. Her brother now sits in a wheel chair and her parents are dead. When she was in school, her brother caters for the family but now she has to cater for the family and that's why she can't afford to be sick. "I SAID LEAVE!" he shouted.
Nora think of something. She heard her thought say. She brought out her phone and took his pictures. Even though she had no idea who he is, seeing the fact he was scared that someone could be stalking him, she knew he had to be some kind of celebrity or something.
"Stop it!" He said as he tried to collect the phone from her but Nora was quick to hide it behind her. She thought Michael would give up but instead he moved closer to her and tried to take the phone away from her. Shocked by his action, Nora gave up the phone immediately. Michael smiled at his sudden victory. He went through her gallery and deleted the photos she took. Nora expected him to return the phone but instead he was strolling through her photos now it was Nora's turn to get the phone away from him.
"Can I have my phone back?" Nora stretched forth her hands instead of receiving the phone, she received chuckles from him as he went through her videos. Nora had so many embarrassing videos like one where she was popping her pimples and another where she was doing dress-ups. She tried her best to get the phone from him but Michael kept teasing her. She almost fell on him while they were struggling but good thing she was quick to lift herself up. "Just give me back my phone."
"You are cute." He told her as he smiled while watching her dress-up videos. "You have an amazing body but I see you hide that through th..."
Nora grabbed her phone and she was successful this time. She opened the door of the car and ran out leaving the car opened.
"See you again Nora!" He yelled as he laughed.
***Reality***
Nora couldn't help but smile too. It was a beautiful moment.
"Nora!" She heard Sara call. Nora was scared when she saw Sara in her room giving her a weird look.
"Did you see that?" She asked.
Sara sat on the bed next to her. "See what?" She asked pretending not to know what her friend was talking about. "Oh! You mean the part where you were smiling at yourself like a.."
"Alright! Alright! Don't insult me." Nora cuts in because she knew how bad-mouthed Sara is.
Sara smiled. "Fine! So tell me, what's making you smile?"
