He could not believe what his little mate just pulled off. When he hurried to the stage, he expected to see one of the Alphas there to expose him to the pack. He could not believe his eyes when it was actually Lola that was standing on the stage. Lola just chuckled and Noah said, “I suggest you change your tone against your leading Luna. You can either accept the changes and evolve or you can leave and go into exile with only your dated morals to accompany you. Your choice.”
Bruce narrowed his eyes and hissed, “You will regret this, Alpha Grey.”
After that, he stormed off, but the other Alphas bowed their heads in respect. Letting them know they would still follow them. When they left someone ran from the crowd and tightly embraced Lola. Lola coughed, “You are choking me, Deborah.”
Noah had not even recognized her because the woman in front of him was full of energy and excitement. She was nothing like the scared little bird he remembers her to be. Deborah smiled broadly at them and said, “I just wanted to thank both of you. As soon as Dan saw everyone cheering on Lola, he left the pack. I am finally free!”
She giggled and then ran off again leaving them stunned. Lola stared at him wide-eyed, “Deborah thanking me certainly was something that I never thought would happen.”
Noah smiled and took Lola’s hand, “Come on let’s go home. I want to show my mate my appreciation for rescuing me from disaster.”
Lola’s eyes started twinkling, “Oh I know some ways you can show your appreciation.”
When they walked through the front door Noah swooped Lola into his arms and carried her to his bedroom. He softly laid her on the bed and started to take off her clothes.
