Rahama couldn't believe what she just heard. She kept thinking about how possible it was. With the same shock expression, she gave sadiq a scanning look and then turn to aunty yasira " please tell me all these is a joke, please"
She pleaded, desperately. She knew aunty yasira or even her her dad wouldn't play this kind of joke on her. With all their expression, she knew they were all saying the truth. It was as if the ground should open up and swallow her, she is now filled with regrets.
" But why? " that why held alot of meaning . It was actually directed at sadiq. " why did you have to pretend?why did you play me like this? " she asked almost at the verge of exploding
He only shrugged.
" All this is just so hard to take in. First is your brother and now I came home to meet this brutal confession!. You two are just the same. So arrogant and pretentious " she growl out
Now, her reaction just had some commas in it. Alhaji was surprised at why she was reacting this way at sadiq. Its not like he did something bad and if she had a problem with Mansir ,she shouldn't involve this young man here.2
" Watch your mouth, Rahama? " her dad snapped " Don't talk to the young man like that. What has come over you, actually?. You didn't even wait to here some explanation from him and moreover, he doesn't even owe you one. So please respect yourself and don't act rudely to the young man"
Aunty yasira pick up the twins to put them to bed since they'vehad there own dinner and they were already dozing off. She wouldn't want them to witness this argument.
Rahama scoff " I can't believe you dad. You allowed this imposter into your house. Oh wait!, don't tell me you knew right from start? " she was speechless
" o yes, I knew so behave. "
" bu_t but why didn't you tell me. I'm your daughter " she said as a matter of fact.
Aunty yasira came back to join them after putting the twins to bed.
"Don't you think your attitude doesn't leaves room for one to trust you. You are too rude for your own good" Alhaji retortedback,
Rahama was speechless. Aunty yasira never wished for all these to happened she never knew that rahama was going to make a fuss over it.
" please, you two need to calm down. We shouldn't brawl over something small. All we all need is clarification and the matter would be resolve. So please let's act maturely and have a nice and wonderful dinner" suggested aunty yasira
Sadiq agreed same with alhaji. But the spoilt brat wasn't given room for explanations.
" I can't. I need to clear my head right now. I'm heading to my room" she turn to make her way upstairs
" Come back here right now! " her dad growl out and she stay put in her position
Aunty yasirah quickly went to stand close to her husband to calm him down " please alhaji, just let her be. Please. "
" Don't you see how she is behaving? She doesn't even respect me anymore. "
" please don't say that, alhaji. She is still a child. We all aren't perfect"
" she" he pointed at a sniffling rahama " she doesn't want to learn. She thinks she own the whole world. Ta cika jin Kanta. Just because I ,her father has some change doesn't mean she can do anything she wishes and feels, not even caring if it was good or bad"
Yasira rub his chest " please just calm down. I promise to talk to her. I think she is having a problem with Mansir which was why she is behaving like this. All she needs now is sometime to get her act together ,please "
He sigh " but I still stand on my words. She will and must have dinner with us right now and when she is done, she can go to wherever she wishesto clear head"
" but_
" No but! " he cut her off " it's an order"
" fine" said an unsatisfy yasira. She left his side and went to have her seat
Rahama need not to be told twice. She walk slowly and dejectedly to her seat which was facing Sadiq.
Sadiq felt bad for her. He knew she can be so rude but he never wishes to be the cause of this argument between a dad and a daughter. It's enough that he also had his own father to deal with but that doesn't mean he wish for another person to be in the same position he was with his dad.
He thought of leaving ,but he knew it would be another problem for Rahama. So he tried all his best to stay calm. And I thought the dinner would be lovely
Yasira stood up to serve everyone but alhaji stopped her " don't serve "
She look confused " why? "
" Let rahama serve us all" he declared
The said lady made eye contact with her father, shocked " but dad"
" Don't but dad me. Stand up and serve us all and I want you to serve Sadiq first as he is our guest" said alhaji, not leaving room for any arguments
She glare at the said visitor and he only shrugged and gave her his signature smirk that always makes her want to hit him with something .
She stood up and did as she was told. She pick up the serving spoon and start to serve him. Deep in her heart she wish she had a very hot chilli pepper which she can magically mix in his food. He deserves it, for making me go through all this shame.
" there is nothing you can do to him. If you like glare at him till your eyes falls, you must still serve him. So better hurry up and come here to serve us" Alhaji said as a matter of fact.
She was internally boiling in rage.

Sadiq drove his patched car into his and jafar's self contained compound. Dinner was actually dense though ,but he wouldn't deny that he enjoy the part where alhaji dabo always put rahama in her place. Its so funny.
He got out from the car and went into their apartment. As he entered the room, he was met with Jafar who was smiling broadly at something on the phone. Jafar slightly gaze at sadiq " you're back" and went back to what was on his phone
Sadiq pull off his shoes " why are you smiling like someone who just won a lottery " he went to sit on the couch
" you won't understand " Jafar answered
Sadiq wasn't having it ,so he stood up and quickly grab the phone from Jafar" ahh"
" give it back "
" not until I read what it is" . It was a message from sakeena telling Jafar how much she loved him. Sadiq doesn't want to pry too much so he gave Jafar the phone back " only God can deliver you from sakeena "
" We are inseparable, bro. I love her so much, wallahi" confess Jafar without hesitating
" hmm. Su lover boy an ji jiki"
" So how far with the dinner. Did it go as planned? " asked Jafar as he came to settle beside sadiq
Sadiq let out a deep breath " Well, it did. But I still felt bad"
With furrowed brows Jafar asked " I don't get you. Why are you feeling bad? You did nothing wrong "
" I know" he rub his face . He told Jafar about what actually happened at the dinner from beginning to end.
" Well, if you still ask me, I see nothing that is of your fault here. That girl deserves it, man. She needs alot of discipline" said said. All of a sudden he burst into laughter " I wish I saw her reaction though, when she was told to serve you. I know it was priceless "
Sadiq too chuckles " Wallahi, I know if she was given a knive at that momentshe would have slaughter me with it"
Jafar's laughter doubled." She wouldn't even dare, because she knows the consequences that follows"
" She is too strong headed . Although, her expression was worth it" a small smile lingered on sadiq's lips
Jafar cleared throat " I can see something in your eyes. That smile looks suspicious " he gave sadiq knowingly look " is there something I don't know? "
Sadiq eyes flickered to Jafar's " what do you mean"
" No, you tell me what it means"
Sadiq made a stand with his hand " wait, I don't know where you're driving at ,all I can tell you right now is that I need a shower. He quickly stood up and went inside the bathroom with different thoughts running in his head . As for Jafar, he smirked knowingly.
" it seems someone is developing some kind of feelings " he muttered to himself

She pace round her room with so many thoughts running in her head. She knew she needs to face Mansir over this matter.
How can he lie to me? . He treated her like a fool. How dare him to that to her?. That man deceived her ,but why?. Why did he also find the need to lie to her and here she thought they were a couple. Do couple hide things from each other?. She needs alot of answers and she knew the only person that can give her the answer she needs was Mansir .
But I'm angry with him , she needed time to think if not she might do the unexpected.
But does he also have to lie? Why didn't sadiq tell me!
Why would he? When all you do is insult him., her subconsciousness apprehended
She knew she wasn't suppose to blame sadiq. She was a fool herself. All this while, the hint was there, sadiq always tried saying some suspicious things when ever he comes face to face with Mansir but she was a fool not to investigate deeply into the matter.
I'm such a fool, a big fool
But still, I should not blame Mansir yet. Its best I hear some explanation from him. I need that , I really need it right now.
It's time like this she wishes she had a best friend. She fought with the only best friend she had, Sakeena. Sakeena would have advised her on what to do, she is so good at it.
I need her back, I need my friend back. I think it's time I give her a call. Old wounds should be left in the past. I need to reunite with her again. I miss her.
She scavenge into her side drawer,trying to find her phone. She finally found it and search for sakeena's number. She unblocked it and dial the number.+
