"I am scared.. what if the feeling of your touch will be removed by the coldness of water." I said as a tear pricked in the corner of my eye. I heard his sighed,
"I have just got ready for work... anyways.." He spoke to himself and pushed the door open. I squeaked and put a hand over myself to cover my body but his eyes were fixed on my face.
He took rapid steps towards me, I took steps back and my back hit the cold wall, I shudder as my legs became weak, I began to pant. He put his hand on either side of me, my heart began to race. I shuddered when he looked deeply into my eyes. He turned on the shower and the water from the shower, soaked both of us. I looked at him slightly shaking. He leaned in and looked at me intensely,
"First, Don't hide yourself." He commanded. My lips slightly parted as they began to quiver but I can't find words to speak. He leaned in and pressed his lips upon mine, a simple yet deep kiss with in-depth emotions. Water dripping from both of us, the coldness of the shower giving me an eerie feeling. My hands were still fixed on my body. But his eyes never travelled down, they kept looking at me with that mystifying gaze. After kissing me, he pulled away.
"Second, Do you think that the power of my touch is that weak that it will be removed by some droplets of water?" He asked in a hurt tone. I lowered my gaze feeling ashamed. He's right, how can I think like that. He pressed his body against me, the sensation of his body against mine made my heart thump loudly. A shivered went down my spine as I gasped and he said,
"Tell me!" My breath hitched, I can understand his anger but the feeling of being wounded by my words is clear in his voice. When his touch is that everlasting how can it be removed by anything?
"No! I-I am s-sorry Christian.." I stuttered. Tears dwell in my eyes as convulsed gasps were released by me. His hand move to my shoulder and moved down holding my hand and moving it upward beside my head as he rest his forehead against mine,
"Sophie... I love you... Please don't think that my love is so weak that it can't prevail over any small obstacle.. Please.." He said desperately. Feeling deplorable that I thought something ridiculous like this, I gave him a nod. I feel guilty for thinking something like this. His other hands caressed my cheek as he kissed my forehead.
"I love you.." he breathed out.
"I love you too, Christian… I am so sorry to mock your love." I said looking down in shame. He looked at me with hurt and disappointment.
Not being able to look at him like this, I moved closer and pecked him on his lips and passed him a faint smile. “Forgive me.” I said sweetly.
His dire demeanour changed by his amused one as a smirk crept upon his thick lips playfully, "I already told you to have a bath together. But no, you want me to take a bath twice." He said wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me close. I inhaled in astonishment, his eyes looking at me with a smirk, his gaze fixed at my face, my face turned crimson as I stared back at his mesmerizing features. Water drenched both of us and his soaked form made him more handsome. My heart was pounding, I tried to speak something but his grip tightened and a loud gasp escaped my lips, his eyes were watching my flushed reactions with so much amusement. He put his index finger on the side of my face as a shiver went down my spine and brought it slowly down to my chest. A profound sensation of seduction travelled in me as I began to crave him. He leaned in and whisper on my neck,
"I'll always protect you. No one can harm your dignity, not even me." He assured me and kissed my neck. He smiled widely looking at me and pulled away. I sighed in disappointment when he moved his hand away from me. He chuckled and turned to leave, he didn't even spare a glance at my body. He was about to leave but I held his hand and said in a barely audible tone,
"Don't go.. Please..."
After taking a bath… and our round two, My face was red as a tomato. My body was trembling due to lust rushing in my veins. I felt flushed. I wore a blue top with a black shorts.
"Liked it our round two?" Christian teased biting my earlobe, pressing his chest against my back. My eyes widened as I shyly walked out of the closet followed by the sound of his laughter.
He also walked out again ready all high and mighty and said,
"Let's go and have breakfast, we're already late for work."
"We?" I asked.
"Yes. We. You're also going with me."
"Christian it's okay. I can stay at home."
"You're coming with me." he said- ordered and left.
"But Christian.. I told you, I can stay at home. I can take care of myself" I went after him and tried to make him understand.
"Sophie, When my heart will be convinced that you can be alone. I'll let you. Until then, you're not getting out of my sight."
"But-" He stopped and turned to me. He held my shoulder gently and said,
"Please. Try to understand. I may have removed the feeling but I still haven't removed the terror... please.. ." he said. I looked at him and gave him a nod. I don't understand, when the feeling is not there anymore, why would I be scared?
We went to his office and finally the lift was empty because we came late. I saw Henley, she passed me a big smile and greeted me.
