"Edward, for God's sake, stop this right now. You've been like this since Cassandra died. It's been five years my son, you need to move on. Akia needs you," his mother said worriedly as she saw his son drunk again.
"Mommy!!!! Mommy!!!" Akia screamed as she dashed downstairs, hugging her grandmother tightly. After that accident, Akia always cries in the middle of the night and calls her mother. Akia misses her mother terribly.
Akia sobbed, "Grandma, where is mommy? I want mommy."
"Shhh, honey, don't cry. Let's go upstairs. How about we try to paint mommy together?" Madam Consuelo comforted her granddaughter.
The young lady nodded and went upstairs, leaving Edward alone at the dining table.

If it hadn't been for Sofie, his wife would not have left, she would not have been in the plane accident, and she would still be alive until now with their new child.
When he found out what had happened to his wife, his heart almost broke; not only had he lost his wife, but also his child with Cassandra, who was still in her womb.
"This, this is my f*cking fault!!!" he screamed, punching himself in the face.
"Edward, stop! You're hurting yourself!" his mother yelled as she dashed over to him to stop him from hurting himself.
"Mom, I miss her. I miss my wife," he sobs, as Mrs. Consuelo's years burst out, pitying his son. She can feel the depth of his pain and grief. It's the same feeling he had when his father died.
"I know, son, I miss her too, and Akia misses her mom too," Mrs. Consuelo said as she tapped his back, comforting his son with her words.
"Son, when are you going to tell your daughter that her mother has died? She's crying every night, calling for her mother. My poor granddaughter is also suffering. Please tell her the truth. You're just making it even harder for her. We need to keep going, Edward, so brace yourself and tell Akia the truth," his mother said.
"My wife is not dead; I know it and I feel it. The police can't even find her body, mom. What if Cassandra is alive? " Edward urged, his voice hopeful.
"What if she isn't? You're wishing for nothing, my son; it's been five years, and if she's still alive, why hasn't she even shown up to us? " Madam Consuelo said, "She should care about her daughter," she added, before leaving her son alone.
Edward believes his mother was completely right, but he can't help but believe that his wife is still alive. As long as no dead body of hers appears, he will continue to believe that she is still alive and that he will find her no matter what.

Anastasia is busy doing chores, and the kids are spending the night with their aunties and cousins. She was about to reach for a glass of cold water when her head began to hurt. "F*ck, it hurts a lot sh*t," she groaned, hurrying to find her pain relievers and take one before drinking her water.
Her head has been aching for a few days, and her husband has only given her a pain reliever. "I guess it helps a lot," she said quietly, but she can't help but be intrigued. Everything feels empty for her after that accident, and Anthony was the only one who was there for her but sometimes she feels unusual.
Anastasia was deep in thought when the phone abruptly rang. She then quickly picked it up and answered it.
"Hello, honey, how are you?" said a sweet voice on the other line.
"I'm fine," Anastasia said, flushing slightly, "it's just my head hurt a little earlier, but don't worry, I've already taken the medicine you gave me," she added.
"Good, tell me every time your head hurts, okay? And don't forget to take your medicine, "Anthony worriedly said.
"Yes, honey; I'll take care of myself; don't worry," she replied.
"I know, but I can't help myself, especially since I'm not with you right now, honey; but always remember that I love you, my wife."
The last two words echoed in her mind like she was hearing another man's voice in her head.
Anastasia fell silent; she doesn't know why, but she has a strange feeling.
"Are you still there, Honey?"
"Y-yes, sorry," she shrugged, "I'm just tired."
"All right, you can rest now; our maid will return tomorrow, so you don't have to tire yourself out doing housework," Anthony said.
"It's just simple work, honey," she sighed, "and I'm bored, especially since the kids aren't here; you wouldn't even let me go outside unless I was with you."
"We already discussed it, honey. You're not allowed to go outside unless you're with me, and you know how much I care about you and it's good for you. I hope you understand I don't want to lose you—-"
"I know, I'm sorry it feels like I always make it difficult for you," she said, taking a deep breath. "But thank you for taking care of me and loving me after that incident even though I forgot everything."
"But, honey, I'm really curious why we don't have a wedding portrait here," she inquired.
"Ohh, honey, let's talk later. I need to get going; our meeting was about to begin. I love you," he said before hanging up the phone.
"All right, he just hung up the phone without answering my question; I really want to see our wedding portrait; maybe it will help me remember something," she thought to herself, taking a deep breath.
"But I'm not sure why, when I heard words that seemed so familiar to me, I always ended up hearing another man's voice in my head, but one thing was certain: it wasn't my husband's voice," she said quietly.
Anastasia became intrigued whenever her head hurt because she always ended up hearing a familiar voice inside her head and some memories flashed through her mind but she couldn't see them clearly because everything was blurred.
