After a long drive, we finally got home, the cab stopped at the entrance of Kahn's mansion, from the far distance we obtained Elena's aggressive words, as we got out of the car and swung close to the front door.
Riya strolled in, obtaining the whole family's attention to her, as I followed behind.
Elena turns her back and draped a startled look on her face, she runs over and hugged Riya, repaying her eyes to me.
"How are you Salem? How did you escape, I was so worried about you? Hope you okay?". She tossed questions to me, I shook my head knitting a weak smile.
"That's good, why don't you go to your room and freshen up".
I walked over after heeding to her words, Riya turns her gaze away as I walked up in a cautious attitude.
After a while, Elena came to pay me a visit in my room, she walks in without knocking, attaining my attention.
"Yeah, aunt, did you need anything?" I asked as I watched her amble further to me.
"No! I just want to say thank you for taking good care of my daughter, she's the only one I have since, the untimely demise of my husband and son".
She says donning a sad look, the same family whom she eradicated with her hands! If it was someone else, they would have believed her but not me, and now the question is, what deal does Elena have with the strange man that kidnapped us?. I asked that after a while, she turns her eyes away and said, "well, his name is Mr. Rodriguez Rio, a former business partner of mine, who not only took my trust for granted but wanted to take over the company without my knowledge, luckily I found out on time and set him straight".
Quietly I listened to every word she said, something within had this urge that Elena was fibbing to me, there was more to it than meets the eyes.
"It's okay ma'am, I understand when the people whom you love, take your kindness for weakness, right?". I said and without hesitation, she affirms her words and asked me to get ready for the party she threw on our behalf, (Riya and I).

I got dressed up for the occasion and walked out to the party room, people strolled in and out of the house, I walked away to the bar section ordering a drink when the light turned off.
I loomed my eyes round and hoped, it wasn't another silly plan of methane's but got it all figured out, as the light turned back on, sewing everyone's orifices to Riya, she slowly walks downstairs, donning an innocent smile on, Indeed if beautiful was a name, it would have been hers because she dashed out like a queen.
While the party continued, I kept stealing glances of her, for some weird reasons, I was moved to go talk to Riya, which I did after gulping the drink from my goblet.
"Hello, may I have this dance?".
She slowly turned and notice my hand pulled out to her, repaying her eyes to me, "no thanks, I do not want to dance with you, please excuse me!".

Another drama unfolds, when I veered back and saw Elena misbehaving in front of the entire guests, she lurched and danced without any form of self-control.
