Miatta
Group Blue worked together in silence, mindful of where we were but my thoughts were scattered in various directions. Addy's words, all she had told me about being in heat had all manifested when I had been with Luke. At last, she had asked to know the events of the previous night:

I agreed to meet up with her afterwards but whether I actually would or not was a different matter altogether. She and Yvette wanted to talk to me at the end of the day, a weird coincidence.
“You didn't dry that dish thoroughly,” Ryan observed, dropping another soapy dish in a clean bowl of water. I took back the last dish I had dried and sure enough, it was still wet.
“Thank you for calling my attention to it. I'm afraid there is a lot on my mind honestly.”
“At least, you've gotten your collar back. That's good.”
Ryan was an acutely observant person. She cared about my welfare but pretended not to for some unseen reasons. She had a way of bringing one’s notice to tiny details. I didn't know if I could trust her with my secrets yet.
“Yeah. I found it yesterday and put it on immediately.”
She nodded and carried on with her task in heavy silence. I hated working in silence and soon, I was itching to be gone. It was then I heard the voice calling out to me desperately.
“Miatta, Miatta, come to me, Miatta,” it said over and over again. No one else seemed to hear the voice besides me. I didn't recognize the voice and I could not tell if it was a masculine or feminine voice. “Make haste and come to me, beloved. I need you, Miatta.”
My curiosity was piqued enough and I had had enough. I excused myself, begging permission from Elena to use the bathroom. She charged me to return quickly so as not to caught wandering on palace grounds aimlessly. I thanked her graciously and then outside to pursue my destiny. As I left the kitchen, the voice intensified with growing heat. I turned left and came across the hall.
“Come to me,” it whispered soothingly and I followed the direction I felt the voice was coming from. I was not scared of being caught anymore and slowly, I made my way into the royal household. The Hall of Kings was a long, narrow hall, adorned with bones and body parts.
