Thea's Point of View
"Thea..."
I flinched when I heard the door creak and felt the bed sink as I was covered blanket over me. Even though I can't see it, someone embraced my whole body while he was lying down next to me. I didn't move, I simply let him.
"I'm sorry."
I kept quiet not because I was still angry, but because I couldn't fathom the reason he was apologizing in the first place.
Is it because I left or do each of them have something they don't want me to know about and don't want me to find out? It came to my attention that if I questioned them, they would switch the topic.
"Please give me some more time. Trust me, I'll tell you everything," he whispered in a strained voice as he crushed his head against my body even more tightly.
"Give me a little bit more time..."
I pulled the blanket away from my body and stared at him. He is similar to a little kid who apologizes to his mother and affectionately hug her after making a mistake.
“Promise?”
"Promise." He responded despite having sleepy eyelids.
"I have a lot of questions, but I'll hold off on asking until you're ready to answer them all. If you still don't tell me anything after I gave you a long time, expect me to figure out a means to learn what took place in the event when I got an accident... and what's behind the past that you want to hide."
"You have my word," he assured me while maintaining a solemn expression on his face. He looked at me for a considerable amount of time before his attention is drawn to my lips.
He brought his face closer to mine and kissed me after moving in closer. His lips and his breath were both brushed my left cheek. He opened my mouth for me with his tongue.
My pupils dilated, and I gave him a stern shove in the other direction before I gasped.
When I finally had a chance to take a breath, he went in for another kiss. I forcefully shut both of my eyes. This time, it seemed as like he was intentionally attempting to tease me with every motion he made with his lips.
"Open your mouth.”
I followed his instructions and because of the way my mind is working, I get the sensation that I am now inside a dream. It feels like I'm soaring.
I fell into the bed as a result of the force with which he had been kissing me. He lifted my shirt up to my chest and ran his palm over my flesh before crawling it down.
The warmth moved swiftly throughout my whole body.
When he licked the back of my neck, I let out a few muffled groans.
"Mmm. Ah."
I didn't give a damn that it was the middle of the day or the other maids could hear us, all I want to release the ecstasy that embracing my whole body.
He sucked my neck and toyed with my nipples. I elevated my right leg as my hands were on his back.
While the two of us were still lying and gasping each other's skin, a loud ringing sound emanating from Craig's pocket.
Even though he didn't appear to care about my lusty side, he continued to toy with my chest, which aroused me more. I can feel myself oozing "down there" with his swollen soldier pushing between my legs despite the fact that he is still wearing his pants.
*bzzt* bzzt*
When it buzzed once again, he finally came to a halt.
"Craig —"
"Wait a moment."
Craig came out before I even had a chance to question him.
'Joana Gordon? Why does she feel the need to contact him?'
If she wanted anything from Craig, she could have let me know sooner and saved us both some time. I don't understand it.
As I was thinking about it, I recalled what he had said the previous day when he also received a call to unknown.
The phrase that he spoke on that particular day is stuck in my brain like glue.
“No need to fret; I’ll keep it a secret from her.”
