I hurriedly stopped the taxi and rode off unconsciously. All I know now is that I am in trouble when Tranz gets to know what happened today — what happened earlier because I was in bed with another man.
I do not know what to do. All I wanted to happen was for me to go home and explain everything to Tranz. My only concern is how I will explain everything to my husband.
"Ma'am, where are you going?"
I immediately wiped away the tears when the driver turned to look at me.
"In S-south Ridge Village, Sir," I said despite sobbing. I am very thankful that the driver is no longer curious. I also don't want to talk because my emotions only get worse.
When I arrived at the village gate, I noticed that I didn't have my cell phone, especially my purse, so I didn't have any money to pay the driver. So what I did was I took off my bracelet and that’s what I handed to the driver.
“That's all I can give, sir. I don't have cash. You can sell that, ”I explained confusedly as I looked out the window.
“You don't have to do this, Ma’am. You don't need to pay. The ride is free for you. ”
I read no other emotions in the man's face, rather, what I see on his face are pity and understanding.
"But, sir, it's okay," I insisted and handed him my bracelet. "Please accept this so I can go home."
He let out a long sigh before he accepted the bracelet. I nodded before hurriedly getting out of the car. When I got down, I ran to the gate. Good thing that the guard saw me right away so they opened the gate right away.
The guard offers to take me to our house using the golf cart, so I agreed. But what I did is a big mistake, because it was as if I had just hastened my suffering.
Outside our gate, Tranz was there and waiting! His face’s still unclear because and I’m still a long way from him.
"K-Kuya B-Bert, j-just leave me here ." I could hardly learn to speak because of my nervousness. Fortunately, the guard understood so he stopped immediately.
“If there is a problem, Ma’am, just let us know. It's not that I'm scaring you, but last night, Sir Tranz was very angry while was looking for you. So if you need help don't hesitate to tell us. ”
I just nodded and thanked him before getting down. I could barely step on my feet out of fear for my husband.
But Tranz makes a move. His eyebrows furrowed as he approached me. What happened next was what I expected.
As I thought he would do, he slapped me hard in the face. When I was about to fall on the ground, he violently grabbed my arm and erected me.
“I didn’t know that I married a slut! It was a mistake to marry you, Mina, because you can't be trusted! ” she shouted so I bowed down.
I succumbed to the pain and the intensity of the embarrassment gets even more, and there were people around us who started whispering. I didn’t know that these mighty people would stop on their everyday routine just to watch a scandalous act.
“P-please, Tranz, d-don’t do this here, please. It's embarrassing— Ouch! ” I shouted while holding my hair as he pulled it.
“Are you embarrassed ?! You are ashamed of the people here, but you are not ashamed of yourself?! That you even have created a scandal that will ruin my name! ” He grabbed me by the nape and stood me upright, then he presented me to the people just watching as my husband hurt me. “Look at my wife! Look straight to her! From being a farmer's daughter, I brought her out to poverty! But look at what this lowlife gave me in return! She cheated on me twice! She’s already hooked up with two different men! ”
The murmur grew louder. Instead of castigating Tranz for hurting and humiliating me, they keep on mocking me instead. Their allegation has no truth at all. They make fun of me even though they do not know what happened to me. Someone was still taking videos and laughing at me.
But I could do nothing. Because even to speak, to tell the truth, I have no strength. I didn’t have the strength to explain that I was innocent and I didn’t want what happened to me.
“And did you know where my good wife came from ?! From her man! He slept next to another man! ”
My sobs became intense as I cried. “T-that's not true, Tranz, I-I never cheated on you. I-I love you. I love you so much and you know you're the only man in my life. I-I love you, so I will never cheat on you ... ”
"You're not just a whore, Mina, you're a liar too."
I felt my cheek thicken because of the force of the slap he awarded me. I slumped down on the floor and almost lost consciousness when blood began to flow from the middle of my thigh. I was afraid when I asked Tranz for help.
"T-Tranz ... H-help me ..." I begged but he was like a nail driven into his position.
I was crying as I raised my hand for help but no one tried to approach to help me.
“M-my baby. Help me ... Please, save my baby ... ”I tried to stand up but I didn't have the strength.
I begged Tranz to help me but I saw him shook his head before he turned his back on me. "It's better this way, Mina ..." he said. "It's better to lose that child so we can both live in peace ..."
He started walking and he didn't even bother to look at me.
This is not the Tranz I know. He wasn’t the Tranz who promised in front of the altar that I would be loved. And most of all, he’s not my husband who would leave me in this situation as if he was letting me die.
“T-Tranz, d-don’t do this. Don't leave me ... ”
I almost went crazy because of the pain in my belly. But I have to fight this weakness inside me. For me, and my child.
I tried to get up, but even to move my hand I couldn’t. I was about to give up when the guard rushed towards me. I even saw Dra. Capestrana before the darkness succumbed me.
