I immediately stood up because of what Lele said. What the fuck is she saying ?!
“What did you say ?!”
“I am pregnant, Tranz, and you’re the father of my baby!”
Lele tried to reach me but because of my shock I immediately strangled her. My vision of her darkens. I want to cripple her because of the stupidity she did!
“Do you think I’m responsible for you ?!” I questions as glared at her. I choked her tightly and I didn’t care even though she kept coughing.
By the way I look at it she is having difficulty breathing. But I am not satisfied yet. I slapped her so hard that she fell on the bed. And because my hand was itching to hurt her I pulled her hair upright.
“Do you know what you did, huh ?! You will ruin my family! ” I slapped her on the cheek so she fell on the bed again.
Lele is crying and begging but it seems like I already lost my sanity so I can’t even feel sorry for her. When I approached her again she blocked his two hands and begged me not to hurt her.
“P-please d-don’t hurt me, Tranz. I don’t want s-something to happen to our b-baby ... ”
I pointed at her. “I have no child with you, Lele! If this is one of your childish pranks, you can’t fool me! ”
“I a-am not f-fooling you, Tranz.”
She hurriedly stood up and grabbed her clutch bag. She took a piece of paper inside and even with a trembling hand she handed it to me. I did not accept it. And even though I tried to ignore it, I still saw what was written on the paper. It’s the result of ultrasound.
“You’re not pregnant, Lele!” My voice was intent and I pulled her hand.
“I a-am pregnant, Tranz. Please, you h-have to listen to me. ”
I let out a devilish grin as our eyes met. “Maybe you’re pregnant now but I’ll make sure you’re not pregnant later.”
“T-Tranz!” I smiled even more when I saw the fear in her eyes. I pulled her so he immediately grabbed the frame of the bed as if that way I could not drag her.
But what is a woman’s strength compare to a man? So even though I knew she would be hurt, I grabbed her neck and squeezed her so hard that she shouted.
“I can’t afford to lose Mina so come with me, Lele. I want you to have an abortion because I will never accept the child you are carrying! You’re a whore, Lele! ”
“What the hell is going on here ?!” an angry question of the new voice.
When I looked where the voice is coming, I saw Tita Mercedes, Lele’s mommy. With a sharp-eyed she looked at me before she approached her son. I thought she was the only one who came here but I was shocked when I saw Daddy.
“What’s going on here, Tranz?” Daddy’s voice was soft but I couldn’t get a word to answer him.
Daddy’s heart condition is so bad that lately I’ve been busy taking care of the company especially that we have a problem. As much as possible, there should not be a problem.
But it seems that Lele has no brain because she stood up and ran closer my Father. She was still crying and hugged him.
“What is wrong, hija?” Daddy asked her as he caressed Lele's back.
“I am p-pregnant, Daddy, and Tranz is the father ...”
Daddy’s calm face gradually changed. She slipped into Lele’s embrace before he looked at me.
“What is she saying, Tranz?”
I shuddered as my mouth tightened in anger. I looked at Lele badly who was now simply grinning at me, so I couldn’t control my anger anymore so I pulled her away from daddy. But to my surprise, Daddy approached me and punched me.
He pointed his finger to my face. “Fix this mess that you made, Tranz!”
“How, Dad? Tell me how ?! I love Mina and she is the only woman I want to be with until I get older! And I am not going to file an annulment no matter what it costs! ” My voice was final but to our surprise Lele laughed out loud.
“Really? How about Mina? Does she still want to be with you? She hates you, Tranz! The last time we talked, she told me she would file an annulment with you because she no longer loves you! Because she already has a man! ”
I faced Lele but this time I restrained myself from grabbing her neck and twisting it.
“Is it true that Mina really has a boyfriend, Lele?” She was stunned by what I said then she hugged Aunt Mercedes. “Or are you the cause of what happened to Mina? Why didn’t I immediately realize that thing? Yeah, right. I was blinded by my anger! And my anger flared up for my wife because you kept burning it! ”
Lele looked up at her mother and shook her head. “That’s n-not true, M-mommy. I swear, I-I’m not d-doing anything bad. What Tranz says is not true. ” Next she confronted Daddy. “Mina was pregnant, Daddy, and that’s the truth.” Daddy’s eyebrows met.
He didn’t know Mina was pregnant because I didn’t tell him that. The scandal that took place between my wife and I did not come out because of my money and influence.
“But Tranz is b-barren, Daddy, so it’s impossible that he’s the father of Mina's carrying. Mina had a miscarriage. ”
The pain on Daddy’s face faded from what he heard. “Where is Mina now?” Daddy asked, looking at Lele.
“He is in Manila now, Dad. And according to my informer he lives in the house of Dra. Tricia Capestrana. ”
Daddy nodded before his sharp eyes looked at me. “I want you to file an annulment, Tranz, if you don’t want to lose your inheritance.”
“I won’t do what you ask me to do, Daddy. I can’t let go of my wife. And you know how much I love my wife. ”
Daddy pointed at me again before he loosened his necktie as if he was short of breath. “I hope you thought of that before you slept with Lele,” his voice said coldly before he left the room.
I tried to chase him but Aunt Mercedes stopped me. She was angry but still supported her daughter.
“I want you to file an annulment before my daughter’s stomach grows, Tranz!” There was a threat in his voice but he wouldn’t scare me any more because I knew I was innocent.
“I can’t do that, Mrs. De Veyra. ”
She approached me and adjusted my polo shirt. “Let’s see about that. Let’s see how stubborn you are when your wife is in danger ... ” she said before she left with Lele.
