"I live here." I avoided stumbling because of her direct speech, even though she speaks in English.
"In this s-subdivision?" I couldn’t hide my shock because of her answer.
My eyes grow more expansive, and so the beating of my heart.
The next thing I knew, my hands were shaking because of the tension.
She held my hand before I stumbled. "Are you okay, Mina? Gosh! What's wrong with you? Your face looks pale. Where is your house? Let me help you to get there."

I avoided grinning at her question because I was sure she knew where my husband lived.
I wanted to push her away, but because I thought it would be better for us to be close for me to know what my husband and she were doing, I let her helped me walk to our house.
"Thank you. Care for a drink?" I offered her when we get into the house.
Her eyes roamed throughout the house as if analyzing every detail of the interior design.
"I guess it's quiet. Don't tell me; you don't have a helper?"
"Yeah," I agree with her question.
"Your husband is rich, and yet here you are, you don't even have a helper. How come?"
I want to swear and blame her for everything, but I need evidence first because it might just turn the table upside down.
I tried my best to calm myself even though the truth is I want to wring her neck because of the thickness of her face.
How can she ask apparent things that she surely knows to the legal wife of the man she is dating?!
"Juice? Do you want some?" Instead of answering her questions, I offered her something to drink again.

"Why? Did you see a woman with him? Where? When? Did you meet her?" I asked her one question after another, so her eyes squinted.
"So, there is a third party? That idiot! I want to report him to daddy!" She took her cell phone, and when she was ready to call her stepfather, I immediately stopped her.
"No, Lele. Y-Your brother doesn't have a woman. We're doing okay. We just had a little misunderstanding when you saw us fighting ..." I immediately explained to her.
