Nian Jiezhen got used to it, she was still not in good terms with Xia Meilin but at least she was able to tolerate her presence. She got used with Xia Meilin's bickering while Xia Meilin was getting bored as time goes by.
"Let's go to a casino!" Xia Meilin suddenly suggested.
Nian Jiezhen sighed. There she goes again with her suggestions. "We can't bring Mello there."
Little Melon paused from reading a book before he turned to them with a grin. "I want to go!"
Xia Meilin pursed her lips with what Nian Jiezhen said. She threw the pillow to her and Nian Jiezhen ended up catching it.
"I want to eat!" Xia Meilin whined. "Please give me some apppplees!"
Nian Jiezhen couldn't help but sigh. Xia Meilin's mood would always become so unpredictable and since she was pregnant, she has to cope up with it.
"I know a place where we can go where you can eat..." She paused. Nian Jiezhen turned to Little Melon, "and read books. There's a Library café nearby."
Xia Meilin and Little Melon's eyes sparkled in delight. "Let's go!" The mother and son duo exclaimed happily.
It was the nth time that Nian Jiezhen sighed because of them. She was not babysitting one kid, it was two! How can Lu Yifeng be this cruel to her? Can he hire someone to babysit them? Just because she was on leave from her work for three weeks doesn't mean she was totally free!

Nian Jiezhen couldn't help but be relieved when she saw Little Melon and Xia Meilin being behaved.
Xia Meilin was reading a book and from time to time, she would eat the apple pie that she ordered. Meanwhile, Little Melon had a couple of books in front of him. Because of his eidetic memory, Little Melon was a fast reader, he could finish a book in just less than thirty minutes. Although his interest is on math that's why he was reading math and solving the questions that were there.
Nian Jiezhen was impressed by this. Little Melon was indeed a gifted kid and because of this, he was considered a genius.
Nian Jiezhen wasn't fond of reading books like the two that's why she decided to put on her earphones and watch some movies on her phone.
The atmosphere was peaceful, no one disturbed the other. Each of them was engrossed with what they were doing until someone tapped Xia Meilin's shoulder.
When Xia Meilin raised her head, she frowned upon seeing who the person was. "What are you doing here?"
The beautiful woman that stood before her pouted because of how Xia Meilin reacted. She took off her sunglasses. "I'm living close by."
"That's not what I mean, Ren Shiyuan." Xia Meilin muttered under her breath while glaring at him.
He sighed at how cold Xia Meilin looked at him. He pulled the chair that was beside her before he sat there. "I'm here to attend the runway fashion show. I'm included for this winter fashion week."
Ren Shiyuan was working as a model and an actor in the entertainment industry. He was famous and was included in every year's 100 most handsome men around the world.
When Nian Jiezhen saw someone's silhouette from her peripheral view, she took off her earphones before she raised her head to look at that person.
She saw a tall and beautiful woman in a stylish dress. Nian Jiezhen couldn't help but admire him as she watched him sit beside Xia Meilin.
Nian Jiezhen wasn't the only one who was staring at him, Little Melon was looking at him too!
Ren Shiyuan noticed the stares he received from Little Melon and Nian Jiezhen. He smiled lovingly at them, when he did, it was as if a blooming flower filter appeared behind him. "Hello, my name is Yunxi, I am a friend of Meimei."
"Sister Yunxi, you're so pretty!" Little Melon's eyes sparkled.
"Why thank you, little prince. My, you sure know how to flatter a girl." He winked at him. "I've heard a lot about you."
"Really?! Are they all good?" Little Melon asked happily.
"Of course, they are~ I'm glad to finally meet you, handsome Mello." He blew a kiss towards the little boy.
A blush appeared on Little Melon's cheeks and he ended up using the book he was reading to cover his face since he suddenly felt shy. The pretty sister blew him a kiss!
Xia Meilin was contemplating whether to tell them about Ren Shiyuan's real gender or not. She was a victim of Ren Shiyuan's feminine features during her college days. Just like Little Melon, she acted the same when they first met.
Ren Shiyuan turned to Nian Jiezhen and smiled brightly at her. "And who must you be, princess?"
A faint blush appeared on Nian Jiezhen's cheeks. She was a woman and yet she was making her feel as if she has butterflies in her stomach. She doesn't know whether her eyes were deceiving her or not but whenever Ren Shiyuan smiles, flowers and glitters were appearing around him.
Nian Jiezhen told herself to calm herself down. She was able to regain her composure in an instant. She straightened her back and smiled at him. "I am Xia Meilin's cousin-in-law, Nian Jiezhen."
A mischievous thought suddenly entered Xia Meilin's eyes when she saw how Nian Jiezhen reacted. She lightly elbowed Ren Shiyuan on his side and smiled. "Are you free today? Wanna go shopping with us?"
"I am currently free. My photoshoot already ended earlier so I don't really mind accompanying you three. Besides, this will be a great bonding time for us, Meimei." He clings on her arm.
"Photoshoot?" Nian Jiezhen blinked a few times. "Are you a model or something?"
"I am a model." Ren Shiyuan winked at her.
"Aren't you worried that other people might recognize you if you don't disguise yourself?"
Ren Shiyuan was already in his disguise! Xia Meilin wanted to laugh with what she said but she decided to hold it in.
"I'm not that famous yet, I'm pretty sure that no one will be able to recognize me here." He smiled at her.
How can no one recognize such a beauty like his? Nian Jiezhen refused to believe him but since Ren Shiyuan looked comfortable enough, he must be telling the truth, right?
