What if he gets angry? The sudden image of the Lu Yifeng in the past flashed in her mind which made her eyes filled with horror. Xia Meilin raised her head and looked at him. She touched his cheek and made him face her. "Please don't be angry at me..." She whispered softly.
Lu Yifeng blinked a few times with what she said. Why would he be angry at her when she has done nothing wrong?
Xia Meilin turned to Little Melon who was focused on watching a documentary of a dolphin's life. She unwrapped Lu Yifeng's arms around her before she stood up. "Let's talk in private." She whispered softly.
She didn't want to disturb Little Melon and distract him from watching the documentary.
"Okay." He stood up and held her hand as they quietly left the living room.
Xia Meilin led him to the bedroom. She locked the door before she faced him. "I have something to tell you but please promise me that you won't get mad at me."
For some reason, Lu Yifeng got worried because of how serious she looked at him.
She held both of his hands and gave them a squeeze. She inhaled deeply before she let out a heavy sigh. She lowered her head to avoid his gaze. "I... got kissed by Feng Ning back then when he visited me... but I didn't kiss him back! I was just caught by surprise... I was supposed to tell you this but I forgot... I'm sorry for keeping it until now, Yifeng."
After finally saying it, cold sweat dripped down her forehead. She was feeling so nervous. She was waiting for him to scold her but she didn't hear anything from him. He was just quiet. Because of this, Xia Meilin got worried.
She raised her head and looked at him out of curiosity. She saw his face void of emotions. There was no coldness in his eyes, he wasn't glaring at her angrily at her; it was just blank and this made her more worried.
