Little Melon followed behind her and when he saw that his parents were kissing he ran towards them. "Mello wants a kiss too!"
Xia Meilin quickly broke the kiss and looked at Little Melon with a blushing face. "Ah... Xiao Gua. Don't surprise me like that."
"Me too." Little Melon pouted his lips, as if asking for a kiss there.
Lu Yifeng frowned. "Her lips are mine."
"That's not fair, dada. Momma belongs to Mello too. " He crossed his arms.
Xia Meilin leaned and placed a quick peck on his lips. "There. No more arguing with your daddy, okay?"
Little Melon nodded and turned to his father with a victorious grin.
Lu Yifeng pinched his son's cheek in annoyance. "Just this once."
Jing Wanru chuckled when she saw how the family interacted in front of her.
Xia Meilin stood up and turned to Jing Wanru. "Thank you for inviting us here, auntie. It's getting late so we will be taking our leave now."
"Why don't you move in this place instead? I'm sure my daughter wouldn't mind it." Jing Wanru placed her hand on Nian Jiezhen's shoulder. "We have enough rooms here."
Nian Jiezhen's brow's twitched because of what her mother said. She didn't mind Lu Yifeng and Little Melon staying in her place but if Xia Meilin would be here, she would definitely flirt with Lu Yifeng continuously and that won't be good for Nian Jiezhen's health.
A mischievous glint appeared in Xia Meilin's eyes, she turned to Nian Jiezhen and let out a bright smile as if she has found a new toy to play.
But before Xia Meilin can open her mouth to say something, Lu Yifeng cut her off. "Thank you for the offer, Ayi (Auntie), but we won't be staying here for long. After my work here, we're planning to go to Sicily."
Xia Meilin turned to Lu Yifeng and furrowed her brows. "We are?"
"We are." Lu Yifeng said firmly.

Xia Meilin blinked a few times when she heard his words. "You bought a house there?"
"Nn."
"How long are you planning to stay here?" Jing Wanru asked curiously. If he bought a house... was he planning to stay here for a while?
"Yes, until my wife gives birth."
Xia Meilin was surprised with this. She haven't told him about her plan on living in this country until she gives birth. She never expected him to be one step ahead of her.
A few questions started popping out in her mind. When did he planned this? If Little Melon and her didn't fly to Italy, when will he say this to her?
"That's great. We can always visit you there then." Jing Wanru. "It's nice to know that you'll be staying in this country for a while. I will come and visit your family with my husband next time."
Nian Jiezhen's eyes sparkled in delight. If that was the case then that means she'll be seeing Lu Yifeng more. She can always visit him whenever she's free.
Xia Meilin noticed the look on Nian Jiezhen's eyes and because of this, she hugged Lu Yifeng's arm. "Darling..."
A small smile appeared on Lu Yifeng's lips. He leaned and kissed her forehead before he turned to look at his relatives. "We should take our leave. My wife needs to get some rest."
Little Melon let out a yawn. He grabbed his father's pants. "Mello's sleepy too."
"Then I should not prolong your stay here. You can visit us here anytime, okay? If you need anything, let us know. You can call my daughter."
"Sister Jiezhen, can Mello visit tomorrow?"
Xia Meilin and Nian Jiezhen turned to Little Melon in surprise.
"You're going to teach Mello, right?"
What did Little Melon and Nian Jiezhen talked about? Xia Meilin couldn't help but wonder.
Nian Jiezhen turned to look at Lu Yifeng as if asking for his permission.
"My wife and son can visit this place tomorrow while I'm at work."
Jing Wanru grinned happily, since she'll be staying there for three days only, she wanted to spend her time with Lu Yifeng's family; to get to know them better. "That would be great. This house is always open for you and your family."
Nian Jiezhen groaned inwardly. She was not a babysitter. Why should she let them stay here? Since she couldn't go against her mother, she can only keep quiet with a smile on her lips.
