Landon hugged Kimberly for so long that tears gathered in Peter's eyes. He wished he and Racheal could be like that, but he never thought it would be possible.
“ Can I say something? ” Landon asked and Kim nodded, disengaging from the hug.
“ What is it? ” Kim asked eagerly, cleaning the tears off her face.
“ I guess you should understand what Mrs. Rachael has been saying now. That means she must have been the one to tell Alex about what was going on. She didn’t mean any harm .” Landon said and Peter shook his head.
“ What if the doctor wasn’t smart enough? What if she just used this to bail herself out of the trouble she caused with Alex. ” Peter stated and Landon sighed.
“ I just feel she wanted to help us by doing that. I believe if it was to bail herself out, why would she come here and tell us to run? What if we go and he still hurts her? Please, I want us to see it the way I am seeing it. ” Landon said and Peter and Kim both sighed.
“ I don’t know why you are so concerned about her, Landon. I have disowned her as a mother and she was fine with it .” Kim added.
“ But you know if she didn’t let Alex know this would be a different story. Please I beg of you, I want her to be part of this happiness. I don’t know but I feel she is all alone, with no family and she is trying her best to come back.” He said and Kim looked at Peter.
“Dad, what do you say? To be honest, she is annoying. But she is my mother and I kinda miss her. I need her at the moment. ” Kim said and Peter shrugged his shoulders.
“What can I say? You two want her back. I shouldn’t be the one to say no. All I know is that she is coming back as your mother, not my wife.” He said and Kim and Landon exchanged looks.
“ That aside. What do we plan on using to appreciate Alex for what he has done?” Peter asked.
“ I am yet to think about that. I wanted Kimberly to suggest that. ” Landon said and they both looked at her.
“ Why me? ” She asked, rolling her eyes.
“ I don’t know but I think the best and appropriate person in the position to choose is you,” Landon said and she sighed sitting on the bed.
“I don’t know to be honest. All I know is I think I would go with Rachel's advice. ” Kim said, trying to ignore the question asked.
“ Travelling out? ” Landon and Peter chorused and Kim nodded.
“ Yes, I want to change my environment, baby. Especially after knowing Alex is my donor, I need a break from all these dramas. ” She said and Landon nodded happily.
“ I will take you anywhere baby. Anywhere. I am so happy you have thought about this and you want to go. I already thought about it and I decided to talk to you about it and know what you have to say.” He said and Kim smiled holding his hand.
“ And I am ready to go anywhere with you .” She said and Landon kissed her lips softly right there in front of Peter.
“ Enough of the romance, okay? I am still here. Should I bring a suggestion on what to give Alex? ” Peter asked and they nodded.
“ Yes. I would be so happy if you helped out. ” Landon replied.
“ Why don’t you offer him money and a car? I haven’t seen him riding a car, it seems he doesn’t have one. He should be content with that. ” Peter said and Landon nodded.
“ To be honest I thought about that too. But I added a house to mine. Some cash, a house, and a car. That would be enough right?” Landon asked and Peter nodded.
“But what if he doesn’t contend and wants more?” Kim asked.
“ I would give him, because I know it’s because of him you are sitting right in front of me presently. But if he is demanding too much, then I stop, and then we face the law.” Landon said and Kim nodded.
“ I think that is fine then. And I am done here, so… I will be on my way.” Peter said, standing up and walking to the door, making Landon and Kim laugh.
“ He is so funny, ” Landon said looking at Kim and she smiled.
“ Yes, he is.” She replied and they kept mute staring at each other.
Landon moved up a little so that his face would touch hers and he planted a kiss on her lips. She opened up and deepened it by placing her hands around his neck.

Alex stood in front of the window naked, with his cigar in his hand staring out, he seemed lost in thought. He heard someone approach him and he turned his head to look at who it was.
It was Racheal. They just finished having very hot sex.
“ Hey, why do you have this? ” She asked stretching the picture of Landon and Ruby hugging him.
“ Where did you get that? ” he asked, snatching it from her hand and she arched her brows.
“ On the drawer. Tell me what it is about? ” she asked with a smile on her face.
“ None of your business. Go back to bed. I am coming for another round, I am not done with you yet. ” He said and Racheal rolled her eyes walking to the room.
