They hit the road and were getting close to Landon's mansion when he saw something awkward about Kimberly.
“Hey, are you okay?” He asked, looking at her. She looked all sweaty and tired.
“Oh yeah, I am fine.” She said, trying to smile. But Landon knew she wasn’t herself at all.
“You need to use your medications.” He said increasing the speed of the car, he targeted reaching home in no time.
Kim began to hold her tummy painfully, Landon wasn’t himself anymore. He couldn’t bear to see her that way.
“We would be home soon Baby.” He said in a shaky voice and she nodded slowly. He increased the AC level to a higher one so she could feel a little comfort.
But this didn’t seem to work. She was all sweaty. She shut her eyes and tears rolled down her eyes, She was feeling pains all over.
“Please just some few minutes more,” Landon said in tears. He got to the house and drove in after opening the gate using its remote control.
Thank goodness those stupid reporters weren’t there anymore.
He got in, jumped out of the car, and ran into the mansion to get her medications.
“What is happening?” Peter asked standing to his feet after seeing how Landon barged in like he was chased.
“Kimberly needs her drugs Asap.” He said as he ran up the stairs.
Peter ran out of the mansion to look at Kim. He sighted her from where he stood. He ran closer to the car and when he got a closer view of her, she didn’t look conscious anymore.
“Kim!” He yelled and Landon stormed out of the mansion.
“The drugs are here,” Landon said pushing Peter out of the way. He opened the door and tapped Kim but she wasn’t responding.
“Hey, babe.” He said in tears. His face was red and Catarrh ran down his nose before he knew it.
“no! This isn’t happening.” Peter said and Landon threw the drugs at the back of the car. He ran to the driver's seat, sat, and ignited the engine.
“To the hospital?” Peter asked hopping into the back of the car too.
“Kimberly I am sorry.” He said in tears racing out of the compound. Immediately he hit the road and began to drive like a crazy person.
He knew how awful it could be. He has been there and he knew she was in great pain.
He drove recklessly and wasn’t concentrating. He was damn scared. Peter held the chair fearfully looking at the road and panting heavily.
“Watch out!!!” Peter yelled as he sighted an Old woman trying to cross the road. Before Landon could caution himself, he hit the old woman and she fell to the ground immediately.
“I can’t stop now. I need to get her to the hospital.” Landon said in tears. He looked into the mirror and saw the cops after him.
“I would call the ambulance for the woman,” Peter said pulling his phone and putting a call across to the emergency unit.
“We order you to stop now.” The cops said behind Landon in their car.
“I am sorry. I need to get to the hospital.” He said to himself accelerating and giving the police car some gap.
He sighted the hospital in front of him and raced into it. He jumped down and ran into it.
“My girlfriend is dying!!” he yelled. Immediately, nurses rushed out due to who he was in society. They pulled out a stretcher and placed Kim on it.
The cops covered up in no time and pointed their guns at him.
“Your hands up!” They yelled and Landon sighed raising his hand.
“Your hands behind your head. Now!” They ordered again and he did exactly that. The nurses were shocked and were tempted to slow down.
“get my wife in dummies!!” he yelled in anger and they pushed the stretcher in immediately.
The cops rushed to Landon's back and handcuffed him. Peter was so shocked and confused, he didn’t know what to do.
“Landon.” He called.
“Don’t worry about me, I will be fine. Stay with Kimberly.” He said as they pushed him to the police car. They made him sit in it and drove off.
“Okay, this isn’t good,” Peter mumbled running into the hospital.
