Some days after, she went to hang out with Sofia and Earl and was rushed to the hospital some minutes after getting home only to be told by the doctor that it was food poisoning.
It was just her that was affected and what got him madder at her was that she hung out with Earl. Without telling him.
He had to find out from Sofia and was just keeping himself from yelling at her or giving her something to cry about.
Then she told him she felt like she is being followed but he didn’t put much meaning to it and just told her it could be because those things happened to her in a short period of time, that is what was making her paranoid.
Not until she got pushed by a bulky man who, instead of helping her up and apologizing for it, just stood and looked at her on the floor strangely.
She told him she felt scared by his look and if not for a lovely couple that came to help her up and take her away from the strange-looking man, she didn’t know if she had the strength to get away from him.
And it was strange that after every incident a call that would be followed by a text will come from Daniella and when she replies she is fine, she would hang up and not call till Audriana calls her up to meet up.
He told her, it could be because she hung out with Daniella too much and because she came here that was why she was experiencing it.
“I told you numerous times to stay away from Daniella but you would not listen to me” he shook his head and went into the closet to get his pajamas.
He had come back from work and on his way back home he saw them walking in the street and was furious. He didn’t want to get down and drag her home like he eventually did but couldn’t hold himself any longer and just did it.
That was why she was so mad at him and even glared at him hard and wouldn't talk to him.
“Look, I didn’t mean to drag you like that but you gave me no choice when she blatantly refused to come with me, even when I asked you nicely,” he told her.
“When have you nicely asked me of something nicely and meant it?” she turned to look at him wearing his regular white top she wears every night and was already wearing his pajamas trouser.
She looked away from him and sighed then walked inside the closet and picked up her clothes too before getting in the bathroom to change too.
“You know you can change in front of my darling,” he said loudly to her and heard her hit the bathroom door.
“Dont gets me started Miguel” she yelled.
“Easy Love, we don’t want you losing your voice over a small issue, now do we,” he asked then walked to the bathroom and leaned against the frame with a smile on his face.
“Stop calling me Love and don’t try changing the topic here boy” she opened the door already dressed and was startled that he was there by the door leaning on the frame.
She swallowed and walked away from him.
She went to arrange her bags and then sat on the bed and saw that he was still in the same position but was looking at her.
When he got caught, he looked away immediately and ran his fingers through his dark hair, and walked to the bed too.
“You are not truly sorry, you just want to satisfy your stupid ego” she turned to him.
“Really? Because I did remember saying I didn’t mean to do that”
“But you did and it isn't the same as I am sorry,” she told him and he rolled his eyes and lay on the bed then turned away from her.
“I said what I needed to tell you, goodnight” he switched off the lamp by his side.
She sighed and looked at him then shook her head and lay on the bed also then turned away from him too.
She switched the lamp too and kept thinking bout what could be the thing that he didn’t want to tell her.
Is that bad or were they no more on talking terms? Was she an ex? His first love that broke his heart?
She did read in some romance novels about the guys behaving in wayward ways due to his first love betrayal and would be mean to women that come across him.
Was that the case with him? Sofia too didn’t like her, alongside Aiden and Caleb.
When she would invite them to come to hang out and tell them Daniella was coming along, they would immediately cancel and bring up weird excuses.
Like the last time, Sofia told her she wanted to watch over her future second baby. Weird but she didn’t force it on them and would just hang out with them and sometimes Earl when he was available.
Earl was another case for Dimitri, he didn’t like him one bit and had attempted to beat him one day he came to drop off something from Sofia but thank the LORD she came downstairs on time to see that he had grabbed him by the collar.
She didn’t want to scold him in front of him Earl and gave him a look to leave and he would shake his head and leave.
He detests Earl and doesn't want her hanging out with him but with Daniella, he is like a mother hen trying to get her chicks from danger.
She just wished he could at least tell his reasons for not wanting her around Daniella but he wouldn't answer that and just say.
“Just stay away from her”
If only.
She huffed and shook her head then was a bit startled when Dimitri spoke up.
“Uh?” she turned to look at him who had a pleading look on his face asked not hearing what he said.
“Dont hang out with her again,” he said looking at her.
“Now, Earl isn't your major concern anymore”
“And even him”
She raised a brow at him and he looked away from her with a sigh then looked back at her.
“Please,” he said and she narrowed her eyes at him.
It didn’t really look genuine but she would take that.
“I will think about it,” she told him and he rolled his eyes and turned away from her muttering ‘so annoying’.
She chuckled and faced her side of the bed.
