Nine thirty pm. The time says.
She has been pacing the hallway just outside the ER since he was brought into the hospital and taken in for surgery.
She cried she prayed, she hoped and scolded herself for being so adamant and putting him in such a situation.
“Oh GOD, let him be fine, please let him be okay, I beg you GOD” continuing pacing the hallway then leaning her back on the tiled wall to checking the time.
“Please let him be fine”
She heard footsteps from her side and turned to see her parents, in-laws, friends, and the policemen from earlier all coming towards her. Moana and Patricia’s steps were quickened towards her and she let out a sob going in their embrace.
“Mama” they both engulf her in a comforting hug.

You stupid good for nothings” she yelled and threw her shoe on the vase close to her bed making it shatter on the floor and both men flinched.
One was blond and the other red.
The blond man had a cowboy kind of dressing on only that there isn’t a hat on his head while the red-haired man wore casuals. A pair of black slacks, a t-shirt, and sneakers.
She turned from looking out the window to the two men standing by the door side. They had their heads bowed and their hands behind their backs.
She was so angry at them, enraged even. Why? Because she had it all planned out, everything was supposed to go as she planned it but it didn’t go too well, no it didn’t go well at all.
“I had this all planned, all planned out and you couldn’t even carry out a simple operation, you simplón, aarrgghh!” she threw the second heel and both men had to duck to miss the assault.
She walked up to them slowly with a crazy smile on her face.
“You just proved to me how unworthy and useless you both are, especially you Ed” she points at the cowboy-dressed man.
“Look here Da-”
“You call me Lady D,” she said then pointed her manicured red nails on his chest. “Am I being clear here?” she asked.
“Yes, Lady D” Ed answered and bow his head.
“Good, now I want you both to explain to me how you couldn’t get one harmless girl who didn’t have any bodyguard around her? How? Are you that incompetent? Tell me?” she yelled and they flinched.
Due to how close she was to them it is really hard for their ears with her yelling and all. May the LORD help their ears.
She let out a sigh and fanned her face then looked away from them.
“I wonder why I was having a bad day and I guess my instinct knew of how you guys were going to mess up and were warning me ahead but I didn’t take heed, right?” she asked and they both were looking at her when she looked back at them.
“What? Don’t look at me like that, I-- I am not crazy. Am I? she asked and they both exchanged looks before looking back to her and shook their heads.
“I am sorry, I didn’t know he would spot me and take the bullet for her,” Ed said and shrugged. “I did as you instructed me to”
“Me too, even when it was inconvenient for me I still did as you said.” the red-haired man said.
“Yeah, I know. Si, que idiota. I am just having a bad day and someone needs to take the blame. Now, since you guys already ruined my day I want you to make sure Miguel is fine.”
“Wouldnt that be suspicious? They don’t know me, so coming to check on him will be weird” Ed clarified and she shook her head no.
“No, it's you E.A. I want you to keep an eye on my Miguel and make sure he is okay. We will get together soon and I will make sure no one comes in between us even if it takes getting rid of some weeds,” she smirked.
“Still keep an eye on that woman till I communicate my next order, am I clear?”
“Yes, ma’am” E.A replied then left the room.
“Too bad he answers the same name as him, I wouldn't have bothered to help him” she sighed then dismissed Ed too and went to rest on her bed.
She closed her eyes and tried to get the already growing headache from coming through and rubbed her forehead. Then her phone buzzed and she growled before going on all fours on her bed and crawling to the bedside table to pick up her phone.
“What?” she exclaimed when she picked up the phone.
“Calm down Miss, the manager is willing to comply with your terms”
Even with the headache, a smile still managed to play on her lips and she sat down then laid her back on the headboard.
“Good, tell him I will be in L.A soon. Gracias” she hung up and threw her phone on the bed.
“Now, my day just got better” she lay down properly and closed her eyes.

The officers were done talking to Kingsley and Donald and were approaching the women who were comforting each other.
Patricia was sitting still at the end of the waiting chair with Sofia rubbing comforting circles at her back. Audriana was seated at the other end of the chair in her mum's arms as she wipes the tears that kept falling.
“Good day ma’am,” Detective Raminos greeted to get their attention.
Sofia and Moana were the only ones that looked at the detectives standing close to Audriana then nod in acknowledgment.
“Please, if you don’t mind I will like to ask Mrs. Lorenzo some questions” he pointed at Audriana.
She turned to look at the blue-eyed detective then to Patricia who was already looking at her and turned her gaze away to Sofia then her mum then back to Raminos.
She nods her head and he crouched to her eye level to talk to her.
“I understand that you are feeling so sad and down due to what befell your husband but we will like to just ask you some questions then we will leave you alone, are we good?”
“Yes,” she let out with a nod.
“So can you tell me what happened tonight?”
“I--I” she sniffed then cleaned her nose “I really can’t say what exactly happened but what I knew was that I saw someone from my side view falling down and when I--I--I looked at the person,” she stopped feeling the feeling wash over her again like it just happened.
“Baby, be calm okay. He will be fine.” her mum consoled her.
“I didn’t actually believe my eyes when I saw that it was him on the floor, with his blood gradually spreading.” she sobbed.
“Okay, we understand that. Ma’am, we want you to be calm as you answer these questions” the other detective said.
Raminos held his hand to stop his partner from talking and faced Audriana.
“Pardon my partner, can I ask the next question?”
“Please go ahead”
“Can you tell me what exactly happened before and after the incident”
“Can you come some other time?” Moana asked uncomfortable already.
“We are still not ready for any questions yet please come later” Patricia added and the detectives nodded then apologized before taking their leave.
“Audri, everything will be fine. He will be fine” Patricia told her and she nod then rest on her mum’s shoulder awaiting the doctor's arrival and hoping it was a good result that would follow.
