Watching her right there made his heart swell, and his mind territorial. All he could hear was mine in his mind, but he certainly did not want that. Shaking his mind, he tried getting off the trance, or did he want that. Did he want a committed relationship and babies at this point, no. did he want an engaging hot steamy sex session, hell yes? So maybe he would find a way to strike a balance between his emotions and his sexual drive.
In as much as they both were horny and wanted to have sex, Alex recognized that she was a pregnant lady and perhaps she was already tired. When he got to his apartment, he carried her in and wonders, she only stirred when he lifted her from the car. He then tucked her in his made, making sure to remove her blazer and shoes. Then he covered her. he could not help the sudden emotions and desires that kept running through his mind. Observing her sleep on his made has him feel as though things were as they should be.
Going to the kitchen, he decided to have a drink as he unwinder, and then he would make sure his kitchen had food because a certain someone had habits of waking up in the middle of the night to have snacks. Thinking of this, he felt himself laugh, it had been just after the second bout of lovemaking when she had woken up. She had removed his hand from her waist, and feeling too lazy to wake up, pretended that he was asleep. She had then turned to look tentatively at him while biting her lips, as though hesitating whether to wake him up and request his permission. Deciding that there was no need to wake him up, she went to the fridge and found some leftovers.
Putting them in a small dish, she had placed them into the microwave and then dug into the food as though she had not eaten in days. He had enjoyed watching her eat and then try to brush her teeth. She then tiptoed and sneaked right back into her sleeping position. He then pulled her close and hugged her, breathing right into her neck.
He had yet to realize it, but most of his days had been spent in the presence of grace. In the office, they worked together, and with time, they had developed a comrade that made his heart skip. Speaking of the office, Nicholas felt himself remember the details of the previous day. After he had known the culprit of the money laundering, he had decided to approach martin. That meeting had turned out to be a whole failure. Martin had stood up at the accusation, speaking righteously as though all that was just heresy.
It was at that moment that Alex played the recording he had firm the hotel when martin heard the voices from the recording, he had sat down, looking as though he had aged a hundred years more. Looking stricken, he had lifted his hands to request that he not play the recording anymore. So, he had given him an ultimatum, it was either he returned all the money he had taken from the hotel and quit. The other alternative was that he would take him to the board of directors and shame him there, take the accounts back and of course have him and his accomplice arrested.
The man had not needed any further persuasion and by that evening, he had packed out of his office, it hurt him that he had to go in such terms. Now it was already the second day since he had quit but there had been no money returned and he was beginning to think he had been played. Maybe he should have done more follow-up on the man and know what he was doing. He membered feeling shocked when he realized that Stacy had been the one sending those threats.
He had not left her by herself. He remembered visiting her at the police custody, where she was crying. She said that she had only wanted to scare grace away from him and had no intentions of doing anything harmful. She had panicked when grace had gotten in her way of getting him to sleep with her. The original plan had been to seduce him until he had had sex with her then look for a way to frame a pregnancy on him. that way she could hope to get a wedding and of course the rest would have played out.
Looking at her he felt disgusted, she had such a debased mind that she had not minded sleeping with martin and now she had wanted to sleep with him. Looking at her, he decided that it was better if she remained in the cell for a while. She had of course rushed towards him as she had thought that telling him the truth would make him drop the charges against him.
Coming back to his thoughts, he realized that he had to really follow up on what had happened with martin, otherwise, he would be really stupid to have known the culprit and let him slip right through his fingers. Taking a sip of his scotch, he felt it burning all the way down, it was a perfect drink. Seating on the couch, he turned to look at grace asleep on the bed. The more he looked at her, the more he liked her. she had continued to receive threats even after Stacy was in the cell and he felt worried about her. he planned on getting her a bodyguard who would watch after her when he was not around her.
He stood up and started making a simple dish so that she could have it when she woke. It had just been slightly over an hour when grace traipsed into the kitchen, rubbing her sleepy red eyes. “Heeey, what’s cooking right over here, smells good.” Looking at the food and the woman right Infront of him made him want to just hug her and that was what he did.
“Are you hungry?” Alex asked as he placed a kiss on her forehead. “I made some food for us. “Ha-ha Alex, why would I be hungry after coming from the restaurant just about now, she asked as she batted her eyelashes playfully.” Lifting her up onto the kitchen counter, he proceeded to kiss her sensually. “If someone is still full, I believe we have unfinished business?” Alex said as he trailed small kisses along her jawline and neck.
