The day had been a tiring one for grace and getting home, she kicked off her shoes while moving to the bathroom to set her bath. Massaging her temples, she went to her fridge as she waited for her bathtub to fill with heated water. Taking a vanilla ice cream, she had been craving all day. She changed her clothes to a robe and carried the ice cream to her tub. There, she soaked in the water while taking her ice cream. It was at this point that she could think of Alex freely from the confines of his office.
He had driven her crazy with his attentiveness. Besides that had been distance and gentlemanly behavior. So, she timed when Alex stood to remove his suit. Taking it from him to put it on the coat holder, she made a bold move and made a move to kiss him on his mouth. The result was a bumping of noses and a tooth. Making her blink back tears of pain. As she rubbed her nose tearfully, Alex looked at her as though asking what the hell was going on.
