Terry's pov:
Me and the boys get into my truck and head into town. We are on a mission, they are going to go around town and check things out and maybe ask some questions and I am going to have my meeting with Harry. Then the boy's are going to meet me back at the cafe and we will head to the river to talk about what we have found out if anything.
We joke and carry on, on our way to town. They asked a lot of questions about my mate and I tell them as much as I can about her. They all agree with Mark that they want to follow me in my dreams and maybe they also will find their mates. I tell them I don't think it works that way, and we all laugh about that.
We get to town and I find the cafe and park in the parking lot. The boy's get out and go their separate ways while I head into the cafe. I get into the cafe and look around, good not too many people here right now. I look for Harry and don't spot him so I go to a corner booth away from anyone and wait for him. The waitress comes over to ask me what she can get me, I am about to give her my order when I hear the door open and I look that way and it is Harry coming in. He looks around and spots me and I wave him over.
I wait for him to sit down and then ask him if he wants anything. He orders just a coffee and I order a chocolate shake. It is getting warmer outside so I figured something cold to drink will be better than coffee right now.
I wait for the waitress to leave before I ask him "were you not a rogue a couple of weeks ago?"
Harry waits a little bit before responding like he was trying to figure something out in his head and then he finally responds "yes sir, I was."
"What happened to you? I mean don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with you but you are no longer a rogue. What happened? And why was you a rogue to begin with? What was your crime if any?" I know it seemed like a lot of questions at once but these are some questions I needed answers to.
"Well I am from the Spirit Walker pack and I became a rogue because I did not want to mate with the girl my parents wanted me to mate with. She was not my true mate. I have always wanted to have my true mate so I took off. I have been roaming as a rogue for two years now and then, you may think I am crazy for saying this, but something kept drawing me here. I know all the legends about a new queen will be born for us to feel the mate bond again so I thought that is what happened. That's why I told you I was looking for the queen. So I got here and decided to settle down and then I ran into a man named Thor and he told me if I got a job and cleaned myself up he would hire me. So that is what I did; now I am waiting for him to get in touch with me."
"Do you think the queen has been born?"
"I do not know. I know they say we will get a sign. I do not know what kind of sign we will get. All's I know is I was drawn here and I hope it is to meet my true mate."
"Do you know why there are so many new people moving into town?"
"The ones I have talked to of overheard talking to are the same as me. Something pulled them here. Some have been here from a week to a couple of years waiting to see what is going to happen. I do not know any more than that."
I start to hear a commotion outside and I look out to see my pals talking to some girls. I might add some bad ass looking girls at that and they don't look to happy right now and neither does my pals. I can tell by the way they are standing.
I stand up and go to shake Harry's hand and tell him thank you for answering my questions then I wish him all the luck in the world. Then I head out the door to see what has these guys in an uproar right now.
I open the door and I hear one of the girls yell out "listen here dog the least you could have done was apologize for bumping into my friend here"
Oh heck shit is going to hit the fan now. I hear Bryar growl loudly "dog who are you calling dog, woman?"
I grab Bryar by his neck before he could pounce on this girl and ask them "what is going on here" in my alpha voice.
Before anyone could answer me I hear this loud scream coming from behind me.
