We tidy up everything at work and we all left, back to our houses.
I'm so tired. when I reach home I cooked myself, some food.
Someone knocks at my door...
Strange!. I'm not expecting anyone.
I run to open the door.
"Hey, Grace!. I haven't seen you for a while now."
My best friend Izzy, she pecks me. I peck her too.
"Oh!. That's true I have been so busy lately!."
I answer her as we move in.
"I know, mostly busy with the club!. Right?. Hahaha..."
Izzy teases me.
"Haha!. That's not true!. It's work. It's damn tiring ."
I defend myself,
"Eliza is on her way here!. I called her for us to have a good time together, like we used to, in those good old days. Maybe we will be able to convince her to come to ’the club’ with us!. Haha!."
Izzy cracks up.
Because she knows that it's impossible.
"She will never follow us there!."
I tell.
Eliza is my other best friend. We the ”crew of three” as we use to say.
Elizabeth is the good girl. She hates ”the club” with all her heart. She has a fiance, they loved each other very much.
The food final gets ready and I serve it.
Elizabeth barges in.
"Oh, my girls I missed you so much. Grace the cook hope you made us some of your special meals. I'm craving."
Eliza screams and hugs us tightly.
"We are suffocating Elizabeth...!."
Izzy and I struggle to voice out
”Hahaha...!”
We all laugh as she releases us.
The joy is too much. It's somehow weird coming from Eliza. She is damn animated.
”Let's eat first!.”
We seat, eat, discuss, laughing loud like mad girls.
"Oh, Girls I can't keep calm. I have good news. I am getting married in a month. We fixed the date yesterday."
Eliza screams in bliss.
This explains her extra, unusual joy.
"OMG, this explains all!."
we hug each other.
"Yeah, I am super excited. And I need your help, for the organization. I mean you both."
Elizabeth affirms
"Of course, girl!. You can count on us for that!."
We widen our stare at her needless remark.
"Eliza my baby, you have to follow us somewhere tonight. We have to celebrate this great news in beauty."
Izzy suggests.
”And where is that?.”
Eliza gets all excited.
Izzy gives me a weird glance. I wave my head horizontal as a sign to ”No!.”. Elizabeth notices it. And she immediately guesses the place.
"Oh no, Izzy I know where you want us to go but don't count on me. I don't go to such lame places full of sexual demonic spirits and you know it. I indeed love having sex but only with my man. Yeah, hard sex I mean. You both know me better and how I love and respect my sexual life. I can't go to such places. I am not judging you girls but that's is what I think about that place. I pray never to step my feet there. Nothing personal my loves, but No!, thanks!.”
Elizabeth picks her plate and moves to the kitchen.
We remain behind.
"I told you she will never follow us there. I gave up on her long ago."
I whisper to Izzy.
We then, follow Elizabeth to the kitchen.
"Are you for real Elizabeth?!. Anyway, it's as you wish. For me, that club is so addictive. Though I seriously think of quieting someday, soon."
Izzy replies
"Izzy, I can't still understand how/why you had to go to that club, in the first place!. Anyway, I have said mine and I maintain it. But... but... I know where we can go. There are many night club out there. Wait, that night club where we use to go. We can go there, I want to shake my body tonight."
Eliza explains
"Oh!. Yes, baby!."
Izzy scream.
I can't stop laughing at them.
”Who is driving?.”
I ask
”Hmmm, it's better I drive!.”
Elizabeth shows up.
”Good!.”
