“You are his... it means... I... I will stay at your house.” I stammered a lot in surprise. I never even dreamed a bit of staying in Jacen’s house. I can’t figure out why I’m feeling so excited.
“Yes. I don’t know you are staying here till now. Anyway, it’s a good thing. I don’t need to see you by sneaking around your house.” I ignored his smile by jumping to another question.
“I’m here to learn from Pamela, your mother’s sister, I think. Why is Nina a vampire while she is a witch?”
“There never been many hybrids in Slateville. It’s a rare one. Due to the different species of my grandparents, my mom is a vampire and Pamela’s a witch. A person can only be one species at a time. Noah and I are pureblood cause we are born to two vampires. We have all the strengths of a vampire since birth.” he explained.
He’s a born Immortal. So interesting. I sometimes thought of being immortal.
We both walked out of the room to see Nina arranging for lunch. I thought it’s only for me but there were many plates. Even though they drink blood, they are having food. From seeing the dishes, I think it’s some non-veg items and meat. I love it.
“So how did you two know each other?” Nina asked once I settled to eat sitting next to Jacen and Noah. I hesitated to answer it. My aunt would have already told me I never left my house in my 16 years. What should I tell Nina?
‘I met an unknown vamp boy with a blood bag and a human girl in his hands. That is Jacen,’ I told to myself.
“We just met on the slatecity.com website.” Jacen simply lied like it’s the actual truth.
“Yes.” I nodded and glared at him when Nina wasn’t looking. He just winked at me and took a spoonful of meals or something. I didn’t notice the dishes until now.

It’s been a day since I came to Jacen’s house. Jacen and Noah are so entertaining and friendly, who makes my day enjoyable without a single minute of being bored. We are not playing games but exploring the mansion, reading books, and they even promised to take me to the forest when they are going to hunt animals. This single day my life changed upside down. I have never been so grateful for my life like this. The next moment, Pamela entered the house.
She’s not looking so young like Nina. She’s having many wrinkles on her face and a curly black hair and looks like she hasn’t slept for days. The worst thing is she’s having not much makeup which spoils whatever face she’s having. She approached me, looking from up to down. Jacen and Noah were standing beside me.
“Hi, I’m Sydney,” I said, smiling, trying to be friendly. And expected a nice reply, but all she did was ignore me.
“Hi, Jacen, Noah. How are you?” What? she can’t act like I’m not present in this world.
“Yeah. we are fine.” Jacen answered with uncertainty. Both didn’t even return the question by asking how is she? She’s so far away from fine.
“Take it and follow me outside the house.” She walked away from us, instructing Jacen and Noah.
“What should I need to take?” I gave a confused look at both of them.
“She mentioned you as it’ “Noah told. What? Am I some object? This feels so insulting.
“She doesn’t have how to respect anyone other than her family members.” Jacen angrily said.
Now I know why she isn’t married yet. Who will like a person like her?
I followed them to the backside of the house and stopped in the middle of the ground. There’s a single chair and desk outside for herself and nothing for me. She took a seat with my books on the desk. She took the smallest one and looked at me. It’s more than a normal look. The look is like ‘do I need to deal with some human’.
“Apart from the Witch part, do you even know the Slateville council members and where is it located?” she raised an eyebrow. I can’t lie. I don’t know anything about a council.
“No.”
“You already know she needs to know many things. So why question her? Just start telling.” Jacen suggested bravely, and she behaved as he told.
She cleared her throat and started
‘Anyway, your voice is horrible’ My mind voice spoke.
“There’s a large council in slateville formed by the original vampire, original werewolf, the witch queen and king. These are the three important members who are the head of Slateville. Countess Bailfang is the first vampire and a woman who lived in Slateville for the first time. She has more power than any other vampire. She can turn into a bat, which is a rare power in vampire species. She doesn’t need to wear a ring to prevent sunlight. She has the strongest compulsion power. She’s been living for 10000 years in Odren country. Slateville, Ravenwood, and other cities are existing here. There are 7 cities in total in Oodren country.”
I nodded and took Jacen’s hands to see his Ring which I didn’t notice before.
“I’m didn’t finish talking, idiot, “she called me harshly. I should have not turned, but for that, she’s calling me idiot.
“Andrian Johnwolf is the first werewolf. He’s an alpha. He’s been living for 8000 years and, as I said, he’s powerful among other werewolves. The next is Victoria hale and Peter Hale who is the female witch and male witch. I just wanted to tell you cause you need to know the council members.”
“Okay.”
“Now coming to Witch topic. The witches don’t need a wand. The half-blood witches only need a wand because they don’t have their own talent, power, or speciality with them. If you are one of them, you need a wand too.”
“My both mom and dad are a witch. Why would I be a half-blood? I have powers.” Suddenly, I let out the words. I closed my mouth when she gave me a killer-look with her eyes.
“I don’t, like an interruption. You talk too much. Let’s see what you got inside you. I know it won’t be anything special.” She mocked me and snapped her fingers, pointing at Jacen and Noah.
“I’m not going away from Sydney. I’m going to watch what you are going to challenge, Sydney.” Jacen resisted her order.
“I’m not going either.” Noah joined my side too.
“You are leaving now. I’m not going to kill her.” she looked at them with her fierce eyes and she cast a spell to stop anyone from entering inside the circle. Finally, Jacen and Noah can’t come inside. It leaves me with Pamela.
Now it’s only me and Pamela. It’s going to be a long day...
